  1. Really? isn't she as old as his Mum? Edit: No she's not..f***ing hell seemed to be around for ages and yet still 34.. And probably as short as his knee. But I'd do her. did that need stating? there isn't/shouldn't be a heterosexual man on the planet who would not do Shakira

    Wasted Talent

where did he move to again for big money, Lazio or something? yeah googled it, Lazio it was
  4. wenger already publicly stated one last week and he's probably nailed it - sheik moneybags just gets one of his companies to pay citeh 50m for a sponsorship that everyone else gets say 10m for job done
  5. they really are fucking clueless, hopeless wankers aren't they?
  6. hope this is as bad as it gets man, i really do What do you mean? Are you being sarcy and daft with me and calling me precious? Or are you genuinely saying that you hope it;s uphill from here? fucking hell you are pissed, i'm saying that things are bad now but there's still potential for the wheels to come off this season big time so i hope this is the worst you feel about football for a while as regards things getting better from this point on i highly doubt it, unless graham carr is the greatest scout that ever walked the earth EDIT: howay, i'm not Stu man
  7. surely this is crux of the matter? i can't see how anyone would expect us to have spent 10m+ on a striker this window for the reasons stated absolutely no excuse whatsoever for not having a loan in before carroll was sold, never fucking mind after
  8. He hasn't sold many assets. we haven't had many assets tbf have we? enrique is just starting to get noticed, barton is just starting to look the part and so is colo only others that come close are milner and given and he sold them didn't he?
  9. if they'd had deals lined up for good players, planned in advance we'd have fucking heard about it pardew couldn't keep his mouth shut man they didn't plan anything, simple as that, anyone thinking otherwise:
  10. Best comment of the night Dave. Except that Liverpool are run terribly and were considered a shambles until Dalglish took over a few days ago. So what you mean is Liverpool were run terribly then, and now maybe this signals that the future might be on the up for them. As opposed to, say, a team who needs to amass about 10 more points with a strikeforce of Best, Ranger and Lovenkrands. Hm. Well yeah, but just spending massive money on two forwards doesn't make them a well-run club. Judging them just by the last 72 hours is a bit crazy. erm the point is they were run terribly as they'd ceased investing in the squad, had loads of shit/average players and a manager that was wrong for the club in the last 72 hours they've let go torres but signed a potentially very good partnership things seem to be clicking more on the pitch i'm not judging them on the last 72 hours anymore than i'm judging the current owners/manager on what happened before they were in place and the transfer window opened tbh you can only judge them from now, and they've started ok for me - 6 points off 5th with the season they've had so far, personally i think they'll finish 5th now and build more in the summer
  11. liverpool 6 points behind spurs now, if something comes of the carroll/torres transfers i really, really hope it's that liverpool take spurs out of 5th place and chelsea destroy their fucking CL dreams

  13. Best comment of the night Dave. Couldn't agree more, good for him for joining a club with GENUINE AMBITION TO SUCCEED whether it works out for him or not. I'd have done exactly the same For other examples of this see Beardsley, Gascoinge, Waddle, Milner, Given and the ultimate 'Judas' Hamann who left to go on win several trophies I think its fairly safe to say though, he didnt join Liverpool because f their ambition. ambition and money aren't too far from the same thing tbh
  14. AP: striker please DL/MA: sure, we're working on the deal, want value for money, and AC isn't for sale repeat until 31st jan AP: striker please DL/MA: sure, we're working on the deal, want value for money, and AC isn't for sale 1st feb AP: where's that striker lads? DL/MA: AC? he's in liverpool alan, don't you read the fucking papers
  15. i see 4 home games we should be either winning or not losing, but that was before this shit hit the fan we might be lucky to get 6 points out of them all now so we're gonna need some away points for sure i think we'll stay up (just) but if we haven't won by the time everton leave SJP i can seriously see the wheels coming off
  16. Aye, fucking shambles to be playing in the "best league in the world" at one of Europe's best all-seater stadiums in a prime, city-centre location every other week. We should be fucking scraping the Unibond Dr Martens Western Conference and looking up to the likes of Sunderland Been a while since we had a chelp at each other Stu and i've not been following things closely due to work but are you fucking telling me you're happy with the events that occurred on Monday? Seriously? What kind of amateur halfwits do we have in charge who couldn't/wouldn't identify even potential loan targets in the event that someone came knocking for the hottest young English striker in the game? These people are running a multi-million pound business ffs, it's the equivalent of not stocking up before the Christmas shopping frenzy kicks in, you think Mike would do that at Sports Direct? Everything else aside, now that I've had time to sit and mull this transfer, these two fucking idiots (and possibly Pardew if he couldn't see it coming either) should have their balls cut off for such monumental mismanagement. 2 weeks ago I said we were nailed to stay up, we're now 6 points above the relegation fight. We'd better win a game soon, very soon, or this will get messy imo.
  17. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1352777/So-attracted-35m-striker-Andy-Carroll-WAG-making-Stacey-Miller-steps-Liverpool-FCs-new-star.html man goes out with girlfriend
  18. yeah but if smith goes that's another body in the squad that needs replacing, as is routledge and xisco it's hardly like we were overstocked in the first place Overstocked no but we have enough CM's surely even without Smith.. Xisco never plays anyway so he is no miss but get shot and we save another wage that can go on a player we will use. Routledge will probably return. you're right though, ship the likes of smith, campbell, xisco and so on then try and replace them with players on less money and we'll eat into the 35m sure enough
