  1. The move makes 100% sense from a personal and professional perspective for Rafa at this point in his life and career. The only other club that makes more sense for him in that context would be Liverpool themselves.
  2. Been thinking the inbred fucking Danes would win this shit for months. It's horrible.
  3. Google says: "Track Bike Total War", and I fully support Yorkie in his opinion.
  4. True, but if it's not a subscription service it would still be hard (though not impossible) to sell ads based on something that might happen.

The greenhouse room though. What is that? Can anyone enlighten me? Why is that a thing?
  6. Extra time means breaking up scheduled programming which in turn effects negatively on advertisement income for linear television channels.

The late 80s/early 90s called, they want their shit house back. Jesus those interior choices. What's with the live-in greenhouse in the middle of it all? Has anyone lived there since the previous owner passed away thirty years ago? Please tell me the furniture does not come with the purchase. The only slightly acceptable room is the room with the bar, TV and pool table.
  8. FWIW, average control time of an incident outside the PL is 22 seconds. In the PL it's 84. I think the best option for all would be to get competent VAR-refs in the PL
  9. The ref got it wrong, they wouldn't have with VAR. VAR would've revitalized an entire city if it was in existance at the time, the refs wrong decisions did the opposite. You can't tell me I'm supposed to enjoy wrong decisions when I watch football. Also way to go ignoring the rest of the post.
  10. I was at a match where a goal stood that shouldn't have in overtime of overtime, where if it had been correctly ruled out, my local third division side would have been promoted for the first time in decades. The referee team needed police escort out of the stadium. I'd have killed for VAR then, instead of a possible rise up the leagues and a revitalized sporting stage in my hometown, they're now in the fourth tier because sponsors just gave up. Wrong decisions can have major impacts and small impacts, there's no reason why they should exist anyhow. Team A scores: Team A fans celebrate --- Linesman flags, the goal is off. Team A fans stop celebrating. The goal should have stood. Team A loses the game. Team B socres: Team B fans celebrate --- VAR check comes up, the goal might be off. Team B fans stop celebrating. The goal stands, as it should have. Team B fans celebrate again. Team B draws the game. You even get another moment. The end result of initial disappointment is the same, except this time you get the correct result and you can even celebrate twice.
  11. It's not meant to solve everything. It's meant to improve one thing and that is making the game played fairer by better refereeing of the agreed upon rules of the games. The other stuff is irrelevant to VAR.
  12. Why does it remove the joy from a goal scored for you? I'd love to hear the thought process. Not sarcasm or anything, genuinely. Is it anything else than "it might be overturned so I can't celebrate"?
  13. There's less bad decisions and thus the games are more fair. Imagine a world without the hand of god, one less iconic moment but I'm not sure those watching that game or cheering on England at the time were thinking "By golly, so good we can't remove this obvious refereeing error from this game to help us advance in the World Cup!" Bad decisions are shit, they're not "fun talking points". They're shit. They ruin the joy from wins as they're forever a win that was given by a ref, and they're even worse when they inflict losses.
  14. Nah, you assuming VAR will cancel a goal is what takes away the enjoyment. Don't assume that. Until they signal for VAR, it's a goal. Same as when it was a goal until it was signalled for offside, which often came very late on many occasions. Not saying the PL refs aren't using VAR shit, but to me it's fairly clear the people not for VAR just don't like change and want the change gone.
  15. Because it makes the game tons more enjoyable. I don't want my watching experience ruined by bad decisions and it makes sure there's less of those.
  16. I've got them or Holland to get to the final from their side of the draw.
  17. They've been annoyingly quality for years, ever since Hareide put them into shape. New manager has looked to improve on the groundwork done as well. They do shit alright down there. Fuckers.
  18. As a Norwegian, I am bred to hate Denmark when it comes to sports. Doesn't mean I'm blind however, they'll go through easily and do their interviews talking like they got potatos stuck in their throat forever more as us mountain monkeys look onwards and hate life.
  19. £150 on Denmark & Italy
  20. All in the fairly obvious context of generally being anti JL'a contributions moreso than someone genuinely believing burnsie. If they were to genuinely believe burnsie, that's a different can of worms to open.
  21. If there's anyone out there believing burnsie they need a hard talk with themselves in the mirror.
  22. It's the same people over and over again so it's actually an easily fixable problem. Throw warnings at them, temp bans or whatever until they shape up and act like adults - or if they don't take the hint that warnings/temp-bans should give them, they get permabanned. There's no need for it to escalate time and time again. I miss Dave.
