Our current roster of players know their days are numbered with a new manager with a bottomless wallet - however, if their buddy Bruce remains... gravy train still rolling, no need to face reality that no decent club would want them.

Have you ever shed a tear over a player leaving? I genuinely welled up a bit when Ben Arfa left

Went a bit crazy: £150 on the combo Dortmund win / Haaland anytime / Lewandowski anytime / BTTS @ 13.00

Josh King to Man Utd nailed on this summer.

I always replace the entire squad bar 1 or 2, in about 2 seasons I genuinely only wanted to keep Dubravka, Almiron and ASM in my list

I cannot see that level of turn around to be honest. I have said before every player is replaceable however I would like 5 players in key positions to establish a core spine in the squad and in the next 2 or 3 windows actively look to get 2 or 3 quality editions per window. Obviously I like the idea of signing more under 19s for the future and to develop our youth setup at the same time. However that is almost secondary and dependent on which manager we have. I say that as some hate bringing on and integrating youth talent so would be pointless if that were the case. In a properly ran club, it's not the manager's responsibility to bring in or train youth talent... I meant more from the prospective of those players actually getting a chance and playing. Having a strong youth setup sounds great but if they are not playing or in the managers thoughts there is no point to begin with as there are far more important issues. You need youngsters to fill the homegrown quota and so on. Plus if you set up a good farm you can use the youth to fluff the FFP wallet.

Norwegian PL show on the takeover: "The most important thing for Newcastle after the takeover would be replacing Steve Bruce with Pochettino or another manager with a name. It doesn't matter how much money a club has, do you really think a world class player will want to come play for Steve Bruce?"
-
-1 on bayern wasn't it? Yeah, put a second on with -1, over 2.5 goals and Frankfurt most cards as well. -1 being the important one.

Disagree, possible leg breaker. It was accidental, it looked bad in slow motion but every tackle does. Something being accidental doesn't necessarily mean you shouldn't be punished for it, though? That's true, I just thought that was pure accidentally and someone's reputation getting him sent off. It wasn't a leg breaker imo. I wouldn't have reacted strongly to it being a yellow, but not opposed to it being a red. Perhaps the definition of a tackle in "orange" territory, either way I wouldn't argue against the decision if it was yellow or a red.

Always liked Zoggy, shame about the heart issues that forced his retirement.

I literally don't feel any different watching it. Think the home sides will suffer a bit with ref decisions and intensity however. Read an article about how refs are statistically much more lenient towards home sides with an audience than without one, both with regards to cards and added time. I mean, it would sound much better with an audience. The game being played is still the same, which is why I don't mind that much.

Just give the ball to Haaland you bunch of shits!
