  1. Karius is literally the worst though.
  2. What a shit free fall That is actually horrible by Rosenborg standards, though. It's essentially a one team league due to the money differential, so all they care about is not dying in Europe.
  3. Essentially a done deal by the time shit hit the fan. To put things in NUFC terms, they basically sacked their version of Keegan after qualifying for the EL, controlling the league and strolling through the cup. Didn't even properly replace him, put a youth coach in charge. Then the owners have been railing on the players in the media, leading players to hand in transfer requests and fans to stop attending games en masse. If they don't change the chairman quickly and hire a proper manager, I would be surprised if they break the top three next year even if they keep their current crop of players.
  4. Poor attempt at fishing. The only surprise tonight is that Celtic could only win by 1, had them -2 on my coupon. Rosenborg have been in free fall for months, players in open revolt against the owners, already out of the EL after being embarrassed by good sides (Leipzig and Salzburg) and any focus remaining in that squad is on the cup final. Sarpsborg on the other hand
  5. On around $38,000 a week according to these articles in the Fail and Chronicle so I'd imagine so. The MLS salaries are public, how do they not manage to find them? He's on $44,000 a week, so around £35,000. You'd imagine if he went to a normal PL club he'd look at anywhere from £80k to £100k. Isn't our current highest player only just above £80k? His stock is high, better and more normal clubs will no doubt be around him. Hopefully the pull of Rafa can bring him in, as the money won't do it.
  6. Almiron was great in the Argentine league as well, don't forget. Got signed as a designated player at 22. On a higher salary than Zlatan. On that note, would we even be close to paying the wages he'd no doubt want?
  7. Southampton won't beat you's. We've just drawn at home to Palace and struggled past Young Boys. I wouldn't rule it out Neesy. Aye but Mark Hughes. Agree with you that 14/1 is very weird odds for Jose to go next, like. Man Utd stuck with Moyes for basically an entire season. I have no faith they'll bin Mourinho mid-season, most likely he'll be let go after the season is done - or after they get cut off from the CL spots / dumped out of the CL.
  8. Yes, he looks genuine quality. Streets ahead of other MLS players. Only thing to be sceptical of is how well he'll do in a physical league like the PL vs La Liga, for instance. Then again the clobbers in the MLS aren't exactly physically kind either, just less quality.
  9. They're probably just so used to always paying out when you bet they do it automatically now
  10. Yeah, think Southampton will get a bounce once they sack Hughes.
  11. Because Thauvin never looked good for us, whereas we all saw Mitro's potential. The most important part making this debate go on as much is down to there being no replacement, so we sold a potential star for what's (relatively speaking PL fees wise) a small sum and brought an older player with a worse goal record than Mitro in - on loan. If things went as rumoured and Plea had been bought for instance, this debate would not be the same at all. I don't think the core of anyone's debate is that they don't think Rafa should put up the team he wants, just that we "threw away" massive potential and didn't replace it with something equal or better, meaning with the benefit of hindisght most of us would've wanted to see Mitro be forced into the system even if he doesn't necessarily fit, as he's still a better piece than the ones available.
  12. I'm quoting directly the SSN presenter, "Bizarre incident at the Den, as a Millwall fan ended up running the line" My point is how is a fan of one of the teams allowed to be an official Sure that would go down well in a Tyne Wear derby. Someone had to step up as fourth official, and then linesman, and apparently that guy had at least some ref experience. what if it happened in the champions league final, and the fan 'missed' an offside that saw his team win. The higher level of the game you get to, the better the planning for eventualities such as this. It wouldn't happen. You don't, however, just have spare refs lying about for a Champo game

  15. Hard to argue that he isn't at the moment. Better Shot/Goal ratio than Aguero this season, which is remarkable given the teams they play for.
  16. Not as entertaining as they teased. Turns out it was an injection that's legal as long as you inform the drug test people about it before you take your test, but Ramos forgot.
