He didn't get banned, so taking this as a #win.

Mentioned this in the match thread but I don't think it was a red card at all tbh. If he intended to kick the player, then yeah, it should be a red card, but as far as I could tell he didn't intend that. He was kicking in the air in frustration and happened to hit an opposition player. Basing this assumption on his surprise when he hits him and that he's not looking at him before kicking out. Yellow at most for dangerous play.
  3. What hype? The only "hype" I've heard about Cardiff this pre-season is how they're bound to get relegated and have no chance at staying up. Wolves and Fulham on the other hand have been nothing but hyped up. Sorry if it wasn't clear but that is what I meant. Recent history suggests the entire bottom half will be meh and that the majority of them will sack their manager. Was my bad, read and reacted to it too quickly and missed "others" and just read "were worse and are"

  5. Past clubs / international experience. Lejeune is absolutely quality, will take something to dislodge him from that position on a permanent basis. I’ve not said Lejune hasn’t been class for us, though. Just that when comparing the history and accomplishments of the two players you’d think Schar would be better. If he is or not as an NUFC player we don’t know yet, but the fact we possibly have three very good centre halves for once is a great thought until he turns out to be shit
  6. Would be quite funny if you were the first to go because you made the rule and bumped the theead at the same time
  7. If we’re gonna predict things this early on, which three teams do you see going down? Cardiff, Brighton, Huddersfield? Cardiff, Huddersfield and either Watford or Brighton. If there's a major injury to Zaha throw Palace in the mix. If there’s a major injury to our captain would you throw us in too? No, for once we have some alright CB cover. That said I have no idea why we’re persisting with Clark though No idea about Spurs but today I reckon he knew Cardiff would play a lot of long balls so wanted a Premier League/Championship experienced defender in there. Fernandez also has decent experience and the (admittedly few) times I’ve watched Swansea I recall him being competent enough. Would prefer him over Clark.

  9. Because other teams are worse than us. Some people are alreay voting what’s equal to meaning us going down 8 out of 10 times, this after only two games. It’s nonsense. Play through all the next 36 fixtures 10 times and I’m certain we won’t be relegated 8 oit of 10 times. Voted 2, fwiw.
  10. Unproportionally funny to me
  11. How can you say this? They are twins, so same faces.
  12. Was absolue dogshit in the first match this season. Can’t remember him managing to make one good pass. I was so hyped to see him play as well. He was great in the first half, completely ran out of steam then My favourite thing about him is that he can’t play or train if it’s below 5 degrees celsius due to a medical condition.
  13. No guarantee anyone else would’ve scored either as everyone taking pens these days seem to just love placing them at keeper height with as little power as possible behind them if the WC pens were anything to go by If Rafa and his coaching team has identified Kenedy as the back-up penalty taker, I’m fully backing Kenedy to take pens if Ritchie’s not on the field.

  16. If Kenedy’s the second name on our penalty taker list, I’m fairly certain he’s our second best penalty taker as of right now. Having a shit game doesn’t mean you can’t score a penalty, just look at Shola. Nonsense to suggest Rafa should fuck up players by taking their given responsibility away because they’ve had a bad game. Would imagine that Rafa essentially saying e doesn’t trust him to take a penalty anymore would do more damage to Kenedy’s mental state than actually missing the penalty.
  17. I think Hayden’s was a red. Arter’s was a red as well. Difference is the ref is shit and we never get players sent off against us.
  18. Was kicking the air in frustration and hit a cunt. Not sure it’ll be a retroactive ban tbh, feel it’d have been a yellow if the ref saw it. Commentator in agreement with my opinion at least. However we’re NUFC so a three match ban is happening no matter what.
  19. Roy Keane, Gareth Southgate or Juninho.
  20. This is quite literally what he did in the clip. I've done plenty to stand up for NUFC without any of that. It's nothing to do with "having balls" Having balls is standing by what you think, I don't agree with that attitude. If this was a world leader talking about other nations then fair enough, this is a chap who is asking why the likes of Brighton or whoever are racing ahead of us when in reality, they have nothing on NUFC and while I would always want someone who is representing fans to be more tactile, I’m not going to condemn the guy or get my knickers in a twist about it in case it offends others are makes us look arrogant or whatever. Again, who cares. We shouldn’t and as fans we need to stop being precious. The media and average internet fans consider us deluded Geordies and a laughing stock anyway, I say internet fans because people I speak to away from the web, fans of all kind of clubs, usually have nothing but good words and indeed sympathy for us. Again, if more fans had the mindset of this fella and were pepaired to actually voice it like he has, MA and his cronies wouldn’t have had it so easy the last decade or so where 2 relegations, renaming the stadium, taking KK to court (and losing) and the other charge sheet list of crimes against our club, still hasn’t softened his ownership or woken fans up. The general gist of what The Magpie Group and other fan groups are doing is to enlighten the rest of the world to how horrible Mike Ashley is in an attempt to gain more traction in pushing him out. Spouting stuff about NUFC being better than other clubs in public whilst representing the movement that's aimed at enlightening the rest of the world to Mike Ashley does not build sympathy, it plays right into Keith Bishop and company's hand: "Look at the fickle NUFC fans with ideas above their station. We're all just doing our best and they're never happy". What we may or may not think about how big we are compared to other clubs on a personal level is more than fair enough. The issue I, for one, have with this is that it's being aired in public and feeds the "Geordies have deluded expectations" storyline when we're trying to wake the world up to what Mike Ashley is doing to the club. There's a time and place to not be humble, and that time is when we're not trying to gain sympathy of others to make the crusade against Mike Ashley become so poisonous for him that he has no choice but to cut his losses.
