From what i've read in this article,Luque is our Maccarone,just because he plays football in a diffrent way (i.e,him playing with more technique then physicalty),he is considered a "soft C**nt","a lazy forigner" etc.. Its clear all we want is players who are extremely physical (Martins,Sibreski,etc..) and everone else will fail,I said more then one that roeder should try mixing styles,playing Robert like players with Martins like players,thats what big team such as manure and Chelski,Arsenal and Liverpool do,North East sides such as us and boro,Mackams all play with physical type players,wich is proving useless when facing big teams with more then one style.

I thought it was Glen's decsion to keep him if we don't sign any players,As much as i hate fat fred,he did what Glen wouldve done,they propbly agreed on blocking the Luque deal if we sign no one

The Dubai company (DIS) got loads of money,and i do mean loads of money Even if they are going to use us for the short term,we will have a fantastic team to bulid on (maybe a good manager aswell?) I won't be too botherd if they buy our club,at least then we might actually win something

Bad peformence today,but its the result that matters.. My Ratings: Harper 8- Kept us in it with a couple of fantastic saves from Carew and Young,Didnt miss Given today Huntington 6-lacked conentration,Average peformence Bramble 7- Good game,looked Solid,would still try Gooch over him Taylor 7-Our best defender today Carr 5 - Poor Parker 7- Good peformence,not as solid as he used to be Butt 6- Played well but got injured in the first half Milner 8- MOTM,a quick goal and an assist and a very good peformence throw out the match Duff 7- Was poor the whole 90 min,but he played a huge part in the Sibreski goal Martins 7- Still can't understand why he was chosen as the sponsers MOTM,didnt have the best of games today Dyer 7-Well taken header for the goal,didnt do alot besides that Subs: Sibreski 7- Nice touchs,glad to see him score like he said he will do 8) Overall team peformence 7- We got lucky today,Villa missed alot of chances today and we couldve easily ended on the losing side,but we managed to hold on and take all the 3 points

He needs to concentrate more But improving a player mentally is much harder then improving him physically or technically.. He does seem to have what it takes to be a good defender, he is strong, good in the air, can tackle, but mentally he is and to be completely honest, an idiot.. If we somehow manage to make him concentrate while playing (Maybe send him to sleep earlier, heard the lad is a night guy) ,we will have one hell of a defender

Us signing Babel is nearly impossible He turned Arsenal down this season,because he wanted to stay with Ajax Many huge clubs are intrested in him,be he won't be moving untill next summer.. Forget about him,it won't happen

What were you expecting, John Terry? Not Oguchi Onyewu thats for sure But if he's all we can afford,then its ok. But us not signing "too old" Campell is a shame tbh..he was avalible on free and we didnt take the chance But lets not judge this Oguchi fella before we actually get the chance to see him in black and white.

This is more sad news then happy.. After 28 days of waiting,we sign Oguchi Onyewu,On loan Lets hope he add's something to our team..
