There wasn't much contact and Kalou did an Olympics style dive. Might've still been a penalty though.
-
Looks like Julio Cesar slammed his head against the steering wheel.
-
Jose's smart enough not to be smug over a first leg home victory.
-
That seemed too easy.
-
Only two Englishmen on the pitch tonight. No Italians.
-
It tells you everything you need to know about Joe Cole right now that Ancelotti has preferred Kalou to him.
-
Beckford and Snodgrass would be stupid signings. Hell of a way to prepare for the Premiership, signing players from League 1. If this campaign has shown us anything it's that the gap between the Premiership and the Championship is massive, never mind League 1. The money could fetch better elsewhere.

Honestly though that is what she is. She gives Teddy carnal pleasure while he finances her. What else do you call a girl like that?
-
Teddy's done well for himself. The girl is obviously a prostitute though.
-
Saw that Kieron Dyer played 20 minutes or so for West Ham tonight. Happy for him and hope he comes back.
-
Not every genuine injury requires three minutes of treatment, man.

Lomana Lua Lua starts upfront for Olympiacos against Bordeaux tonight in the Champions League.

Wasn't there some controversy about this during the Marc Vivien Foe death event? It took the physios quite a while to come to his assitance and get him off the pitch. I think part of the problem was that the referee had to see that it was a real injury and the ball had to go out of play.

Germany might get embarassed today honestly. Stuttgart, who are muddled in Bundesliga mediocrity, will probaly get rubbished by the best team in the World today. The aggregate loss could get quite nasty.
-
Hertha Berlin are the bottom team in Germany. Having an awful campaign.

What do people think of leagues making concessions to teams in the Champions League? It really struck me as unsporting when Bordeaux were allowed to postpone their league match this weekend to prepare for the Champions League.
-
Porto, Sporting, and Benfica are all decent teams. There's not much to say at all for the 13 or so others though. They are horrifically bad. Similar to Holland in that sense. I'd agree with all of those except for Romania. Then again they have some decent teams that have been getting results in Europe of late. edit: Holland is definitely worse than Portugal actually.
-
Ukraine and Turkey are up for debate of you like, but Russia is quite clearly ahead of Portugal, with the money that has been pumped into that league. Russia is barely behind France and Germany at this point.
-
England, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Turkey, Holland. Didn't know he was at Toulouse, hows he doing? Always thought he was pretty s*** at Sheff Utd but seems to have forged a decent career for himself since he left. Maybe we should spunk big bucks on Arda Turan (not that he'd move) He only came over at the end of January so I've only seen him through highlights. But generally he's slotted diretly into the starting line of one of the better teams in France and scored a decent goal against Le Mans.

Maybe it is just me, but it seems like the entire idea of naturalising players playing in a nation's league to play for the country is a ridiculous advantage to European teams and countries like Qatar with ridiculously lax citizenship standards. -
How about Kazim Kazim? Talented young player who knows the league. On loan at Toulouse right now which maybe means he would be available to buy.
-
He's been a failure everywhere outside of Portugal (maybe the tenth best league in Europe), he has no business rejecting a Premiership team.
-
You realise Gilberto Silva will be 34 next season. I wouldn't be averse if he came on a free for low wages (he wouldn't) but I wouldn't expect thim to be rampaging around the place.
-
You inferred that buying two players would turn a Championship side into a mid-table one. I strongly disagree. Especially with the injuries that proliferate this club.
