He never had it.

Very good player, just not a No. 10.

To be fair, when you look at Ivanovic and Mikel (both younger than Arshavin) you'd think they could've fathered the majority of the Arsenal team that look like they are going through puberty. I think Wenger is biased against tall people as well as people over 25.

Italian style flares at Stamford Bridge?
-
I feel like Chelsea are not concerned with conceding corners at all. Arsenal only have two threats in the air, as Bendtner sits on the bench. Why is the commentator calling Arshavin young. He's 28-29, isn't he?

Same with Eboue, is it not? Guy came on the scene looking like God's gift to fullbacks but fell off quite rapidly.

Life can be so fragile. Imagine that this man was killed by a bin. Madness.

Chelsea always seem so confident against Arsenal. No fear at all.

I like that chant. It gets a point across about the owner, but is still supportive of the team. Sounds rather nice as well.

This is the truth. To be compltely fair to them though, the team has looked very good in patches and went undefeated through qualifying as well as beating France. I'm hoping the ACN was the exception rather than the rule.

"Own goals' is now Man Utd's second-highest scorer in the PL this season, with one more than Berbatov (8). Mishaps."

I love big number as well. Personally I wear 55 and I love it.

So, Nigeria sacked Shabiu Amodu as manager of the national team. Well actually he has been demoted to coach of the "local" national team. I think it is justified because of poor performance but it seems alot of people are very angry with the decision. Rumours linking Hiddink or Shetata, I doubt either will end up as the coach, but it would be amazing if we could get a high caliber manager like that. It's a bit of history repeating itself as well. In 2002, Amodu qualified the team for the World Cup, but was sacked after finishing third at the ACN. Exact same story this time around, I'm just hoping we have a better WC than in 2002, the team definitely has better players.

Fabio knows, but do you? The central midfielders...

Is that sarcasm or blindness? I swear the only time I heard his name today was when he was being taken off. -
Your team really was horrible today. I don't know what Moyes said at halftime, but Everton were absolutely rubbished by ten players. I also don't understand why it took until the 70th minute to get Yakubu/Anichebe/Any other attacking option on the pitch. The team had a man advantage and was a goal down for a significant amount of time and Moyes persisted with the one striker. Generally just a very violent and terrible game. There were about 15-20 yellow card worthy tackles but not one memorabkle attacking movement or even moment of quality.

fsdfsdfdsfds The next NUFC star. (Not Ribery, the one next to him) Definitely worth a shot. Can never have too many potentially good young players.

Being an athlete isn't a talent though, anyone can achieve physical fitness through hard work. As Ronaldo says, he just couldn't be arsed. That's nonsense. Genetics plays a massive part. Some folks just have much more potential for muscle and speed than others. Sure someone like Viduka was lazy, but regardless of how hard he worked there was no way he would ever be as fit as someone like Martins.

I don't care about England really, but if I had to choose four fullbacks: Cole-------Johnson Baines------Richards Especially considering you are playing Algeria and Slovenia in the group stage, I would definitely take the more physical players as they can't really deal with them. -
That isnt Samuel Okunowo is it? I've got a relative who was involved in football and I remember him telling me about this lad. He watched him at some kind of youth tournament of some sort and he tells me to this day he remains the best 14/15/16 (not sure how old) year old footballer he has ever ever seen, he was absolutely convinced that this Okunowo fella would go down in history. Still occasionally mentions him, he said he was just stood there in absolute awe at this young lad and how amazing he was. He said he was tempted to remain another day where this tournament was being staged just to watch this kid. It's quite bizzare how a player of such immense talent can go backwards. Looking at his wiki after bouncing around many different european clubs to little success he's now 30 year old and playing for Waltham forest in the 8th tier of English football, almost quite sad really. Did anything happen to him, such as an injury being the reason his career went pear shaped, im genuinely interested to know a little bit more about him now? That's him, yes. Was a brilliant player for Ibadan Shooting Stars when he was younger in the 90's. He was originally an attacking right midfield player. When he went to Barca, the manager tried to convert him to RB or central defender with little success. IT never really worked for him at Barca. While at Barca, he had some sort of serious knee injury and ended up needing reconstructive surgery. That was it. He was never the same player.

Alvaro Recoba. Tijani Babangida. Gbenga Okunowo.

Chelsea not banned from signing players for next 2 windows.

The right decision was made. Enforce the rules for everyone or don't enforce them at all. Same as with that nonsensical Eduardo diving ban. -
How about Arshavin? You look at him and wonder how his career might've went if he transfers to Arsenal at 18-21 instead of when he did. Amazing that 99% of football fans didn't know of him until less than 2 years ago.
-
The likes of Barton, Martins, and Chopra have far too much career left to say they've wasted it.

I've seen you put Oba in the OP. First rule of black hair is that when we get perms it makes the hair straight. Prime example of an African perm would be Drogba.
