  1. This. Where the f*** is that fat t***? You'll see him when he scores the winner
  2. The sound is odd for me, sounds like a jet is flying past constantly.
  3. That's a brilliant strike. Right up there with Jonas for our goal of the season.
  4. I think the Algerian/Israeli thing was rubbish to please rabid Egyptian fans. I think it's more, "I don't want to move to a club that probaly won't pay my wages."
  5. Muntari has generally been terrible since making the big step up. Some players aren't destined to play at the top top level.
  6. We are awful right now. Scraping a 1-0 win against Benin, ffs. I am worried about playing Mozambique. Have to win that one. Sunderland have cheered me up, though.
  7. Pompey are staying up. You will see.
  8. Awesome game was that. Unreal winner, n'all. Was probably the last good game of the tournament really; the group stages were good but the knockouts were so negative - everyone was just scared to death of going out. Hope it isn't the same this year. Gonna be difficult watching the likes of Italy slog out some more narrow victories to the tune of a thousand vuvuzelas. Can see me watching very little this time round if it's gonna be the case. WHAT??!! Not watching the World Cup?! Every single match of the tournament could be a predetermined 0-0 draw between Stoke and Bolton and I would still watch as much as I could. It's the bloody World Cup, man!
  9. Resign? Only a fool would do that. Rafa isn't going anywhere until he gets his payments.
  10. Very happy for Peter. If he gets going, then maybe we can actually field an effective partnership upfront.
  11. Honestly, if they don't get rid of the fool, the fans may stage a coup d'etat. Revolution!!!
  12. He has to go. It doesn't seem as though things are getting better, and Maxi is definitely not the answer to their issues. The likes of Tottenham and Villa might just be better than them this year.
  13. I was also going to ask. They don't seem to employ many foreign coaches. Is it a national tradition like it was in Engand before Sven? The last coach was foreign. They paved the way for the mentally handicapped to work as coaches by hiring Berti Vogts. There are good coaches in Nigeria, but Amodu just isn't one. The only reason he is still here is because he qualified for the World Cup, and even that was through no fault of his own. Our best manager was definitely a foreigner though. The lack of football brains is my guess. Typical pseudo-racist condescending Euro bulls***. Anyway, I;m going back to watch my beloved team throw away everything again. Much like Newcastle, it seems more "if" than "when" Racism?? So what's the reason for Nigerias failings over the years? The quality individuals are and has been there for some time. They do look a little like us circa-Roeder - players running into each other and clearly looking like they've never played with each other. I atually thought we played quite well until the random goal Egypt scored. Then it fell apart.
  14. An embarassment in every sense. At least the fat bastard Amodu might be fired. I mean, did he just replace Mikel Obi with Kanu? Is he on cocaine? At least when Oba and Osaze are back fit it will improve and the second round probaly still beckons, but he still must go.

  16. I coud understand the keeper did it, but still managed to make himself look like a tart Where's Aboutreka? is he playing for Egypt? He's injured. The Nigerian forum I was on actually exploded when Egypt scored that goal. I think it is dead. They ought to win this, and it will be a shame if they throw it away again.
  17. Egypt just did a perfect through ball through our entire defence and Enyeama came out about 30 yards to challenge. I tire of this.
  18. Angola has been an embarassing host thus far. We're playing Egypt right now "(probaly the second most anticipated group stage match) and it is almost completely empty. Not surprising though, as tickets went on sale DAYS before the tournament started. Especially considering the economic state of everyone in Angola.
  19. Ok...so what of the 37 African nations that did not qualify. Like say, Senegal, who have players playing throughout the top leagues. Maybe their players should be banned as well. We don't want random qualifiers in some far off country affecting the outcome of the hallowed European cash cow.
