  1. Thing for me is that he's 21. He's young enough to recover and sort it out.
  2. Them things they call yellow & red cards ? Well obviously you'd be more careful if you've already gotten a yellow card, just like you'd be more wary to slide in on an attacker. I mean generally though, if you haven't been booked and there is a hint of contact in a dangerous area then you really ought to alert the referee of this by falling.
  3. Everyone dives. There is no advantage to not diving, so I don't see why any player wouldn't.
  4. Old Trafford has avery American-like atmosphere. It's loud but in a very general way. I guess that is the sound of that many people talking with their neighbor and occasionally clapping.
  5. Most teams won't give you two ridiculous goal though.
  6. Just looking at the scores, it seems Kaboul was redcarded after his equaliser
  7. That Harewood image is especially wonderful for us reading the forum in public areas.
  8. We're deluded for thinking we should be doing better against Barnsley? Are Chelsea fans deluded for expecting their team to beat Bolton?
  9. The problem is nations are giving out citizenship to footballer like it is nothing, while the poor people who would actually benefit are thrown back to wherever the hell they came from. You may remember the Dutch trying to fast track Soloman Kalou to citizenship. Qatar has some ridiculous rule that allows you to become a citizen after two years of residence and they have adopted several foreign mercenaries this way.
  10. Not all Italian teams have racist elements. I think every team has racist/nasty elements to some degree. This is true for every country. It's just a matter of how many people are this way, and whether or not the club represses these sentiments. This varies huge amounts in Italy and worldwide.
  11. Village Idiot, I have to say I find that sort of behavior kind of disgusting. There shouldn't be Brazilians playing for Spain just like there shouldn't be Nigerians playing for Qatar. It is against the spirit of international play.
  12. Duff was actually at his best upfront for us I believe.
  13. I would definitely go for it. Especially with an eye towards next season if we are promoted. If he recovers from injury, we will have acquired a Premiership level player for nothing.
  14. Side note: Balotelli is a petualnt fool and not even that good of a player. At least not good enough to succeed with the attitude he has right now. He has enough talent to have a very, very nice career, but it won't happen unless he gets his things together.
  15. Balotelli is clearly not ethnically Italian. He is born of African immigrants and is a citizen of that nation. There is a key difference here, imo. Those who say Balotelli is an Italian are correct. those who say Balotelli is not Italian are also correct. Citizenship and heritage are two very different things, especially in this globalized world. For the purposes of national teams, I think they should be open to those who hold citizenship of that nation and also those who can ethnically identify with a nation through parents, etc. Btw, all these Italian teams have racist elements. ALL OF THEM. It's nasty, but it is also true. What was it? Four years ago that Inter fans caused Marc Zoro to stop playing because of abuse. I don't think it is any different in England, tbh. It really is a matter of what authorities do to stamp these elements out.
  16. MLS players are built to succeed in the Championship and League 1. The style of play is quite similar from what I've seen.
  17. Alan Dunne above them all. http://www.givemefootball.com/GMF/files/39/3968944a-ecba-4a48-87f2-e4534b80edff.jpg
  18. It takes a good midfield to end the game with confidence, and that is the one area of the pitch where we are not superior.
  19. Quiet yourself please. For the benefit of the community.
  20. If we hold on, this is 21 points out of 21. These players and this manager have done very very well.
  21. You'd think he'd be more of a replacement for the likes of Pienaar than Jo. He's not a striker.
  22. Best time to score as well. Give those boys something to think about.
