Said when the transfer window opened we'd be lucky to sign any players, on deadline day we might push through a couple of signings if we are lucky, won't be anything exciting though! Its just the reality of the club situation, depressing as fuck!

Yeah great.. well it would be if we had a fkn future. Better to have a club to support in the long term without having to spend massive amounts of money (which we don't have), if we had done this years ago we wouldn't be in the position we are in now!

Bit off track this but......I'm sick and tired of all these players wanting to leave, can you honestly believe that any 'decent' player will want to come to this football club at present?!! Its quite alarming how many players are unhappy and would be happy to jump ship at any given chance, a far cry from where we were 3 years ago! I mean the only player who has actually signed is a below average premiership player whom knowbody wanted to touch last season! Say no more! RANT OVER!

You might find that the net spent isnt much at all...3 or 4 mill? correct. think he'll spend a bit more in Jan tho, if only because of the looming threat of relegation/having to win over fans. No chance of an investment, he's never splashed out in the transfer market so why would he now especially in the current climate, we might get in 1 or 2 players with 1 or 2 leaving.

Its not acceptable! For a any side in the same league to be beaten this easy with this many individual mistakes is amature at best! We got drubbed like this last year, now this year. If you look at our squad with an unbiased eye it really isnt much better than championship standard. Where do we go from here, scrap 40 points id guess but will it be the same next year??

At the current state of the club anything above 17th i'd be happy with!! Today will be a game that will help decide our fate, a result at Wigan to push up into the top half or a defeat which will see us flirting with relegation again!

Do you think with shola not up to it and viduka obviously lacking fitness with the likelyhood both may not be at the football club come end of season someone like heskey might be worth a shot? I also think a midfielder maybe jimmy bullard(central player who can get forward and score a few goals) and an extra left back would be handy too. At the moment i dont really care hahaha but if we can strenthen in january who knows where we can finish!!!

If the upson rumour is true then i'd imagine he would slot in at CB with colo and with beye at RB and maybe a loan of riise from roma at LB, would be a canny defence if they gel right and much improved on the current back 4! Hopefully then another buy and /or loan in the midfield area would see us in a decent position to avoid the drop!

I don't think we'l go down but it will be mighty close! We will have to stick with kinnear till the end of the season UNLESS we lose the next 6-8 games in a row, which is very unlikely in this league this season. Although i don't agree he is the weakest manager in the league (paul ince, zola). plus you got to think blackburn, wba, sunderland, stoke and maybe west ham aint exactly great either and the teams i expect us to be fighting against come may. The club is in a mess we all know that, but we have to stick by it and support it as best we can because after all it is OUR club, nomatter how much its hurting us! It has to be a priority players contracts are sorted sooner rather than later, or we face a mass exodus end of season. And we desprately need a left back and a solid experienced midfielder, areas we lack quality.
