Disagree, in the second half they were better all over the pitch.
-
He has an excellent game and was unlucky not to get player of the match
-
I truely hope I’m wrong but I just don’t see it currently. Maybe he improves in his 30s.
-
Nah when we are out of the cups o fancy us to have a late charge.
-
Beating them in a cup final is enough for me.
-
Fair, I guess I should judge him at the end of the season.
-
Played really well for most of the first half, those two goals killed us. Felt like we ran out of steam early second half, not surprisingly after the performance against PSG. Also Liverpool were very good second half. I still think we’ll finish 6 or 7th which might be enough for European football.

Yadda yadda yadda, wasted enough time on him in the summer.

Who’d have thought…

Could it be a 4-2-3-1 with Willock in the 10? -

It’s Willock in midfield I’m most worried about, we could get over run in there. -

And also if Willock is back in midfield then that’s just a bad decision. He’s a wide forward or number 10 ffs. -

Surprised he hasn't started Wissa mind. -

Willock and Ramsey to revert to type tonight, just saying -
They’ll just have to spend another 500million in the summer, I’m not bitter!
-
And weaken our squad with the riddiculous about games upcoming? No chance.
-
Barca beat us 9 times out of 10, that’s as hard a game as they come. If we win I hope it’s Chelsea.
-
Most refreshing thing for me was the wide players running more direct into the middle of the pitch supporting the striker and getting in goal scoring positions, unlike most of this season whereby they just stand out to the touchline lumping hopeful balls into the box with no direction. We took risks, they didn’t always pay off but it also caused PSG problems.
-
Easy to say after that performance but he’s much more effective further forward, always has been, played number 10 for Bruce then did really well wide left at the start of Howe’s tenure. Hope he gets more opportunities.

Just to get to the last 16 would be fantastic.
