As bad as things have been it’s nothing compared to most of the Pardew and Bruce era. And that also includes the majority of the times prior to those two. They were desperate times under an ownership with no desire to compete year after year. I’m fully behind Howe and his team.

I think we’ve got to suck it up for the foreseeable. Maybe there’s hope we can beat Villa and Qarabag although right now it wouldn’t be a disaster if we don’t. It is clear these players are done and need a break and until they do I won’t judge Eddie. If he starts next season badly then I might change my mind.
