Does Howe tend to stick to British based players or was that due to transfer limitations at Bournemouth?

Might have been answered previously, is Howe bringing his own coaching team with him?

Has Howe gone on record saying he likes to have decent fullbacks? I think those will be the first areas you’ll see him strengthen in January.

I for one is quite excited by the prospect of Howe becoming manager, hopefully he adds some enthusiasm amongst the players similar to how Keegan and even Houghton brought to the club. He speaks really well too and seems to have some character about him unlike many of the dinosaurs we’ve had in the last 14 years. Really hoping this goes well.

Potter now for me if he’s a realistic choice.

He’s still a class act although very injury prone, for that reason I’d stay clear.

Maybe, but I wouldn’t want him managing nufc. The most successful managers of the past were at least likeable blokes.

I’m unhappy with Bruce however I’d be equally unhappy if he was replaced with a Chris Wilder or Mark Hughes.

We have some ‘winnable’ games up until Christmas period so Ashley will likely gamble till then and reassess depending on how far adrift we are. Who could he then bring in the save us? Would he then gamble to sack Bruce and pay more money for someone else if he’s serious about selling? I’m not so sure?

In Ashley’s eyes we are a point from safety having only played 7 games, Bruce ain’t going anywhere man.

He’s openly said he’s not walking away, Ashley will not sack him either, he’s here for the entire season unfortunately.

We have done well in getting rid of a lot of dead wood, what we needed was to replace that with 2-3 players of quality which wasn’t done. Makes sense now why those player contract extensions were dished out.

Again, Bruce is going nowhere.

May as well scrap this 5 at the back, drop lascelles and play asm and miggy in their natural roles. Won’t happen though.
