The midfield needs addressing. Really week in that area, I’d imagine that is a strong factor with how little possession we have in games (as well as coaching of course). Even when Rafa was in charge we had Hayden and Longstaff in there. For me a top quality center mid would be top of the summer transfer list.

Fairly comfortable victory for us vs the Irish tonight, could have been 2 or 3 in that second half. Can't be easy watching that Irish side, seem to all revolve around Duffy in both defence and attack from corners and not a lot else tbh. Looking forward to the game vs Finland Wednesday.

Without sounding too pessimistic it does feel like the whole thing could still fall through, I guess that’s what 13 years of Ashley and numerous other takeover failures does to you. Trying hard not to get too excited until it’s confirmed by the club.

Despite all the issues with nufc currently I don’t think anyone can deny the effort and desire of this team is tremendous.
