I think if a player is generally unhappy, I think he could have maintained the "not for sale" strategy. I would have had faith in Eddie talking to that players and discussing it properly. Isak's way of going about it however, was off the chart levels of toxic and I think having him still at the club would have been all consuming, both on a day to day basis and within the media. I hate that he's at Liverpool now but it now allows Eddie to fully focus on the squad and not having Isak as a constant distraction, and stress. Staff management is very stressful in all walks of life so I have no issues with that being taken off Eddie. We need him at 100%.

I don't believe it's as simple as that. Having a player as toxic as that cunt, could do so much damage. The constant social media stuff from Liverpool's shills for at least the next 6 months. The all round media attention. No one is happy about the price but we've rid ourselves of that toxicity and can now focus fully on ourselves. If he was still here, not playing, it's all we'd here about, day in, day out.

Absolutely. The club's success under Eddie is built on the team spirit and unity. Whilst we'd all have wanted more from the sale, sometimes you can't put a price on what effect having his toxic presence around the club could cost us over the next 6 months (minimum). He's gone, and we as a club can focus and move on now. I also remain unconvinced by Slot. I'm not certain Isak's development will continue like it has under Eddie.
