  1. I am writing this before seeing anyone elses responses to the official statement but one thing puzzles me.... If he had issued something like that a week or so ago, he might have avoided yesterdays shennanigans. So I remain ever so slightly cynical but the statement in itself makes me disappointed he isnt staying in charge.
  2. So what happens to Wise and the rest now?... up until a new owner comes in. Their motivation is now surely down the shitter
  3. Is the truth that we didnt really want Him out especially. Is if fair to say if this statement had said "Wise and Llambias Out - being replaced by 2 people subject to joint interviews with Ashley and Keegan", then most people would have been happy to still have him a the helm. I think I would.
  4. But why didnt he just get rid of the staff that the fans were most concerned about. Wise and Llambias. Is he scared of them or something. Its odd that he would rather get out than just replace the problematic staff.... assuming he really did love his time here up until 2 weeks ago.. Jesus.... here we go again
  5. ha ha some fucking business man. one hint of trouble and he is fucking off.
  6. I must admit I am not. What's the story reporting. Any actual quotes ?
  7. Bottom line is that its been done now and the banner has been seen. I dont think it will alter anyones perception of geordies as a whole because they will already have an opinion on what they think of us. Intelligent people will know that one the main, geordies are good honest people intermingled with a handful of idiots. Much the same as I am sure most geordies think cockney's are a brilliant people - intermingled with a handful of idiots. ( As a personal account I went out with a girl from Slough and her parents were both from Bow. 2 of the nicest people I have ever met in my life and I still get birthday/christmas cards from them depsite being married to a Birmingham girl for 6 years ) The media have been showing us up in a bad light for months/years so one daft banner and a bunch of chavs chanting in front of the players entrance isnt going to change anything.
  8. Still think its more about the staff than the structure. For all we know, Wise really might an annoying, devious, scheming little toerag. There tends to be at least in one in every work place who does things deliberately to shit on his work colleagues. Might not be Wise, might be any one else. Might be Keegan. I think I have given up trying to work it all out
  9. so what would we think of the southerners then? Personally I wouldnt give a fuck if they held a "Geordie Mafia Out" banner up. I like to think I would be able to see where they were coming from. EDIT: In terms of their argument over being run from Newcastle. I worded it badly sorry

  11. Does seem like people are thinking too much and looking too deep into it. The guy on Talksport through the night had us and liverpool on as a call subject because he thought it was all about a class war
  12. I think you have had too many already this morning mate
  13. I think you would have to be on poppers to manage this club. Good idea to try to keep the football for as long as possible because its going to be a long week i think.
  14. I know what the reaction would have been if he ran up the steps and twatted Llambias
  15. "Rovers fear Ince, who only joined them in the summer, could be tempted" What utter tripe. On what basis are they able to print stuff like this
  16. Bobby doesnt actually say whether Llambias spoke to him at any length. I would expect that he just brushed SBR off.
  17. Why was he sat there by himself today? Because the others are more well-known targets for the abuse and/or unavailable anyway. Pity really as we could have probably seen some cracking attempts to spell his name on the banners outside.
  18. Because the player that the crack manager has defended since he's came is also suspended. A suspension that the crack team would have known was coming
  19. That's my feeling on the matter and why I have taken sides on this. meanwhile keegan says he had the final say (but really knows he hasn't)............i call that a lie.....what do you call it ? Or.... he thought he'd be having the final say, and then when it gets to deadline day and players are thrust upon him, he realises it not to be the case. I smell an attention seeker. Aren't both of your opinions perfectly viable - why is it that his is automatically wroing and is labelled an attention seeker? Im pretty sure Keegan said he had a say in who he wanted in that role. Something like there had been a discussion when he took the job and a list of people who were candidate for this role and of them he said he'd prefer that Wise came in... Cant remeber the exact quote. You're missing my point completely. I think Keegan DID agree to the structure. but it's plain for all to see that he did not agree to have NO say in transfers. That is backed up with quotes from keegan, Wise and Ashley in recent times. Yup thats my take on it. The club are using the word "structure" and trying to make people believe that within that Keegan also agreed to no involvment in transfers. They do know the internet exists right ? or they know contracts exist Well that of course is the deciding factor. We will never ever know what was in the contract unless this thing rumbles on into court EDIT : Please god dont let Keegan be stupid enough to walk out knowing he was in breach of his contract. I cant believe he would be
  20. Our lass suffers from that once a week
