  1. Sadly I feel its their way of laughing at us
  2. And how would a non-Croatian like yourself know that? I am Croatian, i live in Leedia. Is that near Yorkia Edit. I apologise for being flippant. Its late
  3. thats no lie. For me, this season, I would just like to get past the worry of relegation and then I may be able to take a broader picture of it all. Until we get the points on the board, I shall continue to worry about whats happening on the pitch. I felt we were very lucky to avoid it last year, if we dont improve this year, or worse still get worse, then in my opinion its a very real possibility
  4. Easily remedied.... just tell us. Thats all he has to do. Without that communication we are just left scratching our heads wondering what the hell is going on. Look, I want Sam to succeed as much as the next man and will happily wait 2-3 years for real stability but if what you suggest is what he is doing, by god its a dangerous game. Time to do that is later in the season when you have got to that 45-50 point mark.
  5. I am not going to pretend that I have been a regular for a few years now but "who are we to judge?" We are the paying fans. I think people within football think that people outside football arent allowed to comment but the general public are intelligent people who know their football and they know that Sams selections and formations are just not right and just not working Granted, things may be improving and (not wanting to jinx things) the injury list suggests things are getting better. However, on the pitch, there are some serious issues which Sam shows no signs of trying to change or fix
  6. I must say, I find this frequently made comment bewildering. I honestly couldn't give two fucks about hearing cliched sound-bites from managers or players post-match. I know what you say about the sound-bite bit. For me I would rather he came out to speak so to end his petty feud and also to be a man and front things when they have gone wrong because it gives him a great excuse not to have to explain situations like we find oursleves in now. To be honest, if I was arsed in the slightest, I'd just watch it on the Sky Sports website or something. I also don't think his feud is particularly petty with him and his son having been basically accused of criminal activity. Hasn't bothered Sir Alex. I just think from a PR perspective, when we need as much positivity around the club as possible, we shouldnt be falling out with TV channels. i know from a personal perspective, it must have hurt him and his family a great deal so I can see why he doing what he is doing but I just wish its wasnt our manager refusing to talk to them
  7. This is all every single one of us wants. All we want right now though is just something, anything, that indicates that progress is being made. Unfortnately, everything indicates, and I hate to use the phrase, that he "doesnt know what he is doing"

  9. I'm not sure he's exaggerating at all, I can't remember too many shots against Wigan, the supposed save on the line from Bramble was going wide, the only shot I remember was from Smith in the first half on about 35 minutes, I think the keeper saved it on 42 minutes when it got to him. I can't remember too much happening in the Derby goal-mouth at Pride Park either. I think what is striking really is that we dont, even after 6 months, have the basic features of what everyone thought was a SA side - physical, aggressive, in your face. even if we went out and kicked the shit out of every team for 9o minute you could get an incling of what the general instructions were
  10. My sentiments as well. I really thought he would succeed here. Am stunned that it has fallen apart so quickly. Just maybe got to hope it ends up having a positive effect on our midfield performances
  11. he could also stop being a petty man and talk to the BBC after the match so that people watching MOTD can get an odea of what his thoughts are. When he has made Newcastle successful, then he can pick and choose who he wants to talk to
  12. Someone email them and tell them Barton punched an asylum seeker, that'll change their tune.
  13. The day before every game now, I think to myself "Sam must have realised by now whats going wrong. Tomorrow we will see the changes that will begin to bring around some improvements". He will win me over when I see a team starting that looks like he has realised where his mistakes have been made (and sticks with that same starting 11 - injury pending - for at least 5 games) I want to see consistency
  14. mackems.gif So thats our fault as well is it.. For fucks sake
  15. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/sport/football.html?in_article_id=505003&in_page_id=1779 Not good if that story at Hartlepool is correct.
  16. But at the start of the season, expectations were not that high at all With the players we have, with the poor quality that he turfed out ( getting rid of the likes of Bramble, Onyewu etc was something Sam got a lot of praise for ), surely its not an unrealistic expectation to at least complete on a level with Derby at home and Wigan away. In the end we just about managed to scrape a point from the 2 games and didnt threaten once at Wigan. Wigan are that bad and Derby are worse so if we are struggling against them then we obviously are bad as well. We have to surely be allowed to criticise the fact that he has strengthened the squad and seemingly taken us backwards. From what I can gain form everyone on this board, the only real expectation that newcastle fans have is that we go out every week to try and win the game.
  17. " But in the last two games we were only a smidgin away from better results " If you want support Sam, please dont come out with bullshit statements like that. Just be honest with us and admit your not getting it right at the minute. Dont treat us like we cant see the performances that are being churned out
  18. Guess he doesnt go to Liverpool to make friends either
  19. Newcastle supporters have been told to "take a reality check" by Sam Allardyce's former assistant Phil Brown. Magpies manager Allardyce, who only took over at St James' Park in the summer is coming under increasing pressure from fans after a disappointing run of results. But Hull boss Brown, who worked under Allardyce at Bolton, told BBC Radio Five Live: "The sooner all parties - including supporters, including the media - take a reality check (the better). "Newcastle have only won one trophy in the last 50 years. "All of a sudden, a new man comes to the helm and everyone expects immediate success. It's ridiculous to expect it. "Unless you get a £100million purse, as in Jose Mourinho at Chelsea, or a lot of money such as Sven-Goran Eriksson at Man City, I think it's ridiculous to expect immediate success." Oh aye. It would be our fault like. Twat Pity he doesnt realise that people arent expecting Champions League. Just the odd shot on target against the worst teams in the league would do. Why do fuck heads like these stick their oar in where its not wanted
  20. only if it's the next 4 league games Then he is god
  21. Get the team to keep 4 clean sheets on the trot
  22. Amen agree 100%. SOmetimes I really hate the suporters to the club. Agree 200%, In Sam we trust Then Sam needs to maintain this line of thinking and not start blaming the players (publicly) for him being under pressure. He is no worse than the fans calling for his head, because the players that he has bought, and I guess is criticising, have only been there 5 minutes too.
