Damn. Missed it. Bet that was priceless

Scholes is fucking brilliant, and underrated. Was one of the major things that pissed me off about all the hype over Beckham. Scholes was always the better player but because he kept himself to himself, Beckham grabbed the limelight. Streets ahead of Beckham

How good is Ronaldo. Fucking Hell. Inhuman
-
Fans inside the ground have got to give it absolutely everything to get behind the team
-
Magic goal by Flamini. Is MOTD's goal of the season competition going to consist of goals scored entirely against us.
-
Dont think 1 point against Arsenal qualifies as playing well against the big boys
-
Its tight and and I am fearful for being dragged right into it but fucking hell. KK couldnt have had a much tougher start than this could he ? SSN said another Goal of the Season for No 2
-
Maybe need to calm down a little. Could could fantastically pear shaped but things seem to be progressing in the right direction

That's Jimenez' job, not Wise's, apparently. I suppose it'll be more of a team thing though, and that Keegan will be involved if necessary. I would imagine that KK will have the final say on all players/will be involved in negotiations if possible, and that he'll have more or less full say over the coaches. At least you'd hope this to be the case. The only way this works is if people work within their roles, keep the ego in check, and work together. There is a lot that can go wrong (see Spurs with Jol), but there's also a lot of positive that can be done. Never boring here, as they say. Love it. PS: I've updated the first post as well, because George Caulkin has written another article about this in the Times. We must be the media's dream. Every day something new seems to happen that makes people go "Fuck". Never dull. Fucking magic.

One potential sticky issue I can foresee is that Wise is probably going to find how difficult it is to try to get players/coaches etc to come to the North East. Keegan knew how to sell the place, the fans, the area. Dennis Wise wont be able to do that.

3 Points against Boro (being realistic and assuming that tomorrow wont bring a win)
-
with you on that. hoping they picked wise as they see the qualities necessary in him rather than "he's a mate" Nice to read an article in the national press that seems to be trying to report on actual happenings instead of just spouting personal tirades on the club and the supporters. If true, seems a dramatic change and like the idea that the rest of the club strucure is being concentrated on while KK focuses 100% on the first team
-
If I remember rightly, he wasnt jumping around like a loon in front of Keegan when we scored the 4 goals against Stoke. Must be a Makem
-
As ever, people being employed by this club are being judged prematurely
-
If he didnt know, KK would have already been on the A69 heading back towards Glasgow.
-
Thing is, over the last 10 years we have had managers come into this club that have won things wherever they have been. Depite that, as soon as they come through our doors, something strange happens. We could bring in the most qualified bloke in the world but ultimately, the bloke who brings the next trophy to this club just needs to get damn lucky. Nothing more , Nothing less. It could be Dennis Wise as much as anyone
-
At least Sky are being the same with Leeds as they were with us. They read out an email from some Leeds fan pleading with the club to get Sam Allardyce as replacement for Wise.
-
Apparently he received a lot of stick when he got there, loads more when he went down, and its back again with a few poor results. His wife's just had another baby and he cannot be fuked with the bunch of arseholes Leeds fans can be nevermind he cannot be bothered with management right now. This is what i hear anyway. Well I am sure if he doesnt like the flak from fans with unrealistic expectations, for his next job, he will go to a club where the fans are much more patient and lenient
-
I cant believe they arent bothered. From the position Wise and Poyet took them from, they are now back to square one and faced with another future of goodness knows what. Their season, from looking like a real unexpected success story, has now been blown apart. They are just too proud to admit it

It is certainly starting to feel like a circus Only to us as we are looking at it so emotionally. To Mort, he is just bringing in the people he thinks can do the job. Whether Wise can or cant remains to be seen but Mort has to make decisions detatched from all that. Feeling will sharp change if the team/club improve. We really have to stop being so small minded. I'm not sure how it small minded to question the decision to bring in someone at DOF who has no experience at DOF? Granted I am assuming that it is DOF and this may be wrong so perhaps I should wait and see but it really is a random choice from a man who has no football experience. Agreed that its not small minded to be worried about complaining about appointing a man for a position that he has no experience in. I get the impression though that most of the negative comments are all based on either the fact that he is a cockney or the relationship that he had with the fans when he was a player.

Do we know what Wise is like now being the manager. Roy Keane was a right nutter on the pitch but appears, off it, to be calmer and always speak intelligently.

Gianluca Vialli is bound to follow
