Looks like we made a few back pages looking at SSN. "Keegan in crisis talks" - a typical headline.

Cant believe another thread has turned into an Owen argument
-
I think its fair to say, that barring a ridiculous gamble by one of the top 6, or we go down and he decides to take a big drop in wages just to stay in the premiership, Owen will be with us next season. I would like to thik that if he keeps fit, and with a summer working with KK and the pre-season signings that he will make, Owen will be able to regain some of the goal scoring prowess that he had. Here's hoping because an on form Owen cant be a bad thing to have in your starting line up.
-
Thanks for that, Little Geordie. Just rumours again though. We have to take them with as big a pinch of salt as the negative rumours
-
So more long high balls onto Owens head it is then

We were much, much more entertaining under SBR. Aye. They are what i hoped we could be under SA. mackems.gif Is that you in your signature? No he never. He didn't get near touching the ball the cheeky little b******. One angle suggested he got the faintest of touches imo. I still don't think he touched it. I sit behind that goal and have a great view of the box. Good win for us today though. When do you play Pool mate ? The 30th mate. Huge, huge match. See also April 27th, Everton v Villa. I'm going to be punching redial the day those tickets go on sale. Although, in fairness, a lot of football to play between now and then. I'll be quite happy to see a gap develop between us and the teams behind us rather than worry about Everton or Liverpool ahead of us (and, to be honest, i still think your neighbours will take 4th). At least there is something worth watching in the PL this season. Newcastle United relegated will be the major headline of the summer... champions relegated to the inside pages

Cant say fairer than that mate

2 of our better(?) performances this season against Blackburn and we have got fuck all out of the 2 games. Bastards.

Understatement mate. Be very interesting if Rafa has a CL game to prepare for the week after Unfortunately not. They've got Man Utd the week before though. Aye. Business end of the season alright. Not looking forward to it at all
-
Because Barnsley got them on a day when their players couldnt score from 6 yards. When we play Liverpool, they score from 60 yards. Similar good fortune wont be with us

The quick run of games for them could work totally against us. They won 3-1 today, then if they beat W Ham on Wednesday, they will be right up for it. I always feel that if your winning games, you feel like you can and want to play every day. What will maybe work for us is if W Ham get something in mid-week. Rafa will be even more focused on making sure they go through at Milan that their team will be very under strength (certainly no Gerrard or Torres) Mind, their under strength is probably still too strong for us, and given our recent history there, I am still going for a comfortable Pool win. Goal would be good though. Time to think of the Brum game. (local for me so I am shitting it ever more than just the fact that its a 6 pointer). I am still getting battered over the Villa result. I need something to fight back with.

Yup. The level of basic technical ability throughout our starting eleven yesterday was laughable. Yet he still managed to get them creating a hatfull of chances. If we survive, and he clears this lot out and gets better players, this place will go fucking bonkers again
-
Relegation - will we or won't we? *NO FIXTURE LISTS PLEASE*

It just gives us some hope though and something to cling on to. Think back to under Allardyce when we were not even creating any chances away to Derby and Wigan. If were in that position now, then we really would be up the creek without a paddle -
11 players leading the poll are the 11 i picked for my starting 11. Nice to know my thoughts werent way off

I think someone said we have got 3 out of the last possible 33. Will we get more than 3 out of the next 30 bearing in mind that the fxitures arent quite as frightening as they have been (only just). ?? The key fixtures are at home to other relegaion candidates. We can win those games but not if we play them on their terms. I am just not sure I have enough faith that we can come out on top in these games. I tend to think we never win these kind of games but that could just be the pessimist in me
-
Nice of the NOTW to start talking about players leaving us already

It would be utterly disastrous man. Exactly. And who's to say we'd get rid of the players? We could as easily keep the same mercenary shit that we've got now. Don't play the cunts then. And play who instead? As posted by Zeroe - "Any excuse to get rid of this shower of s*** and actually get some players with heart rather than mercenaries." So I presume we should play the players that we get with heart. Tin Man on the bench then

Clearly not Doncaster it is then SHIT !! I know that was a joke but think about it... it could happen. I went cold. Or Leeds Press would love that fixture wouldnt they ?
-
I just looked at the end of season fixtures. Fucking hell, if we arent safe by the end of April we are gonners
-
Its always the way to go.
