  1. More completely "made up" rubbish. The situation remains as i outlined it a few posts back, and will remain that way until we actually hear (are told) the final result. Nothing to (pretend to) report until then. How is it 'made up' ? As things stand: Mike Ashley owns us. The Consortium pulled out. Ergo, Mike Ashley is going to own us for the 20/21 season.
  2. It'd be so much better though if the person who operates it had some sort of filter rather than posting every little rumour. They do post stuff that is clearly a load of bollocks. Most of the rumours in the press are a load of bollocks so they'd end up posting nothing. That's a fair point.

  4. This is certainly an interesting comment. I hope we do hear though. Fans deserve closure.
  5. What exactly did GC say, because the way you've worded your post suggests he's already leaked that there's something going on.
  6. Totally agree with the 'Ashley want out' line. That is some small thread of hope to hang on to. However, the 'all's quiet' being a good thing is just wishful thinking. There's always one who wants to be the person that lets everyone else know they are ITK. There's no way a deal to buy to NUFC goes through without someone somewhere, blabbing. The gossip would be just too juicy for someone to resist. I disagree with this. No party has come out of this looking good with it being played out in public and so I can totally envisage a scenario where all parties agree to a total blackout of information. More telling though is the notable silence from Stavely who has never been shy about engaging the media and clarifying her version of events but for me the most telling silence is from BeIN/Keys, who have not only said nothing, but have also been actively deleted things that were said in the past which hint at leaks. If this takeoever were truly dead, Qatar would be shouting about it from the rooftops. Absolutely agree that no one has come out of this looking good. I hope that if Staveley is going to come back again at some point, she learns the lesson not to use Caulkin as an outlet. Ashley never says anything anyway so he's probably good for silence. I think I just don't trust the PL to not leak something.

The gossip would be just too juicy for someone to resist. The deal got all the way to the PL without anyone blabbing about it, tbf. Didn't the Wall Street journal write a story before it reached the PL? Then of course, eagle eyed fans spotted Companies House changes. I would agree that a lot of the deal was done without anyone's knowledge but given what's happened over the last few months, the profile of the sale of NUFC is high so I just can't envisage a world where everyone keeps their mouths shut. If Saudi Arabia aren't involved, then maybe, but if the PIF are still around, no chance is it kept a secret. If anyone, the PL will whisper something to the tabloid hacks. Don't get me wrong, I hope i'm wrong but in this world of Twitter, I just can't see a wall of silence.

  9. Absolutely no idea why we wont get willems back. Seems like he will crawl over broken glass to get here and apparently his club is willing to let him go for free a year early. Focus on the word 'British'.
  10. No. There is no suggestion from any angle or source that it's still a thing so for me, the deal is completely finished. Everyone involved has moved on.
  11. I can't stand it any more i'm afraid. Ignore list. Sorry man. You're a champion lad but I just cannot read your 'funny' posts any more.
  12. What a shambles of a football club.
  13. Someone being a wanker in a business negotiation. What goes around comes around eh Big Mike ?
  14. Man City really should have their approval rescinded in light of the PL's about turn with Newcastle. By all means the bin Zayeds can continue to own the club, just don't allow City to play in the Premier. If PIF try and mirror the city model, taking piracy out of the equation it would be very difficult for them to justify blocking it on ownership structure alone. I wouldn’t be surprised if they working on something like this now, or changing percentages. I think PIF have long forgotten about Newcastle. As Mark Douglas has confirmed they’ll be back like a shot if the deal can proceed. Isn't the ball in their court though? It'll therefore only proceed if they actively do something.
  15. I'm not clicking on that link, sorry. What is his 'summer confession' ?
  16. As big an online presence as Apple. Apple, as in iPhone Apple You have to give them credit for the audacity anyway, they're not making do with any half measures in their bullshitting. I think someone else has said similar previously but I don't understand how this can be good PR for them. Surely any potential business partners are going to be put off by the amount of bullshit they are putting out. How could you ever trust a word they said ?
  17. Fuck EDIT: Just seen it finished 3-3
