  9. To answer my own question: Marco Negri was bought by Rangers for 3.5 million and scored 23 league goals in his first 10 games. Apparently he didn't really celebrate his goals and just shook people by the hand. Sergio Porrini then hit him in the eye with a squash ball and he got some flesh eating bug and pneumonia. Then retired. what a strange story. I was expecting the last sentence to be 'Then died.'

  11. Fuck, here's one I forgot about Danny Wilson http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/5/5d/Danny_Wilson_warming_up_%28cropped%29.jpg/220px-Danny_Wilson_warming_up_%28cropped%29.jpg Danny Wilson, born 1991, while still having age on his side is struggling to make a name for himself in football. After early promise at Rangers he was viciously snapped up by Liverpool for £2million. Making just two appearances for Liverpool under King Kenny (of Catterick) he was farmed out to Blackpool. They gave him a handful of games and sent him back, leading him to join Bristol City on loan. Unfortunately he was better known as 'the third Wilson' rather than for his footballing ability and was sent back after playing only one game. Last month he was farmed out again, this time to Hearts of Midlothian, famous for 'being in Edinburgh', hoping to link-up with none other than Michael 'Gooey' Ngoo, one of Hearts potential loan targets.
