"I don’t like to make any major decisions or things without speaking to Sir Alex and that’s something I’ve done since I’ve been at the club and since I’ve left the club in everything I do." What a fucking wet slab

Newcastle United vs. Leeds United: 7/1/26 @ 20:15 (Sky Sports)

I've been doing well with bets involving Newcastle for once. However I'm now trapped in a death cycle of putting £10 on Tonali scoring. I'm scared if I stop he will score. He is surely due a goal ffs -
For all his faults, binning off Callum Wilson (a proven prem goalscorer when fit, which he has been for them) in favour of two expensive randoms seems an all-time terrible idea
-
Interesting comments, it seems to be getting picked up by media and sure it'll make it's way round the ground.

Lewis Miley: signs six-year contract extension (Official)

It's tough. If it ain't broke, don't fix, but I think he's ready to move back to midfield and really make an impact. His ball carrying from deeper is exceptional though. -
probably when big Jim tried to make them clean floors

That is pure filth. 100% completed passes you'd think they were all backwards. Half of them seemed to involve ripping a guy or squeezing past 3 players Comment made me laugh Eddie: whats your best position lad Miley: Yes -
He frames it as if he started because he couldn't think of a single other thing to do, in any form, than be asleep I.e. less about needing to 'escape reality'
-
That's so funny. What did he think would happen ffs
-
That really is bizarre. Footballers need to develop some interests away from football, money and texting. "Shelvey reportedly reacted poorly to being named on the substitutes' bench for the upcoming 22 April fixture against Liverpool and was sent home by Forest manager Steve Cooper" Sounds like he wanted first team football but sure he could've found something in UK. My sympathy level is low.

I'm not even sure they ever believed in Amorim's system deep down. From what I hear, the reserves downwards didn't convert to the same tactics, which appears to be a common approach. So it would've ended with this endless conveyer belt of youth players coming through and having to adapt to a) the premier league and b) some mental formation they've never played in. Him wanting Neves is hilarious too. Nearly 29 year old Portuguese guy, who's played in Qatar for nearly 3 seasons and will cost a bomb in wages.
-
I think he's pretty damn good as a striker, but not when we're sitting really deep (as often happens) as he becomes too isolated and is too slow to do much breaking. In theory we should hit him and he releases the wingers but never seems to happen like that so far. Still, with Wissa back, I'm less worried about solving the Woltemade conundrum for now, and simply see him as a strong, different option. Teams will find it hard to set up against both Wissa and Woltemade throughout each game and in theory they won't know who's going to start.

Wilfried Nancy completes the ultimate banter reign, that was just incredible. Slight worry O'Neill (assuming he comes back again) will stabilise it and they'll win the league. Hopefully they go for Postecoglou mate and it all goes Shane Long.
