This. I don't think he will leave as the only option is a loan and I can't see Mashley sanctioning that. Exactly. Why would Ashley sanction a loan that will, very likely, involve us paying a large portion of the fees? Loan is out of the question, for me. Imagine he done a Tevez I'd be ruined.

I do trust BBC, so any lingering doubt I had has gone. Very disappointed at Colo. Could forgive him if he went at the end of the season, maybe, but he's putting us in real danger of going down. All of his loyal fans and the club that has paid him very handsomely, terrible.

Probably wouldn't start Cabaye though... although he'll need to hit the ground running otherwise we'll struggle having to carry him till he gets back to speed. Interesting to see what Pardew does with Colo. After effectively saying "we will only play players who want to play for us" about Ba (when Ba reportedly made himself available for selection) he'll no doubt go back on his word because he's a spineless prick, thankfully.

This makes me so very sad. So disappointed. Fuck it all.

He's certainly nothing like anita and bigi but would work well with them. Would allow Marv to play upfield. Still, it's all irrelevant. Just thought he was a good midfielder and for any normal club would add nicely to their depth.

Looking forward to having him back. I think he's suffered more from the tactics rather than being out of form. Still angry we didn't seem too fussed about keeping Guthrie (mutual or not) as he was a perfect understudy, would have played nearly every game this season.

It's the constant mid-game formation changes that annoy me the most. I just don't understand it. The players have enough to concentrate on without switching positions/responsibilities around 3 times a game. Opposition players are constantly being left unmarked and we're getting destroyed, especially by the better teams. He has so little faith in anything other than lumping it at the moment

I've been dying to see Santon-Colo-Taylor-Debuchy for a fucking year. It's infuriating how good our first team is potentially yet with the depth of an arabian puddle we are always, always struggling.

Why are you always putting down Scots?! Plenty of defenders have positive playing styles as managers too, what's that all about? I know, that part was sort of tongue in cheek (any reasonable Scottish coaches will flee to England, for good reason). I'm just worried at the quality of youngster we are producing and how we seem to be letting a lot of them stagnate. Really worrying. His speciality is always going to be on the defensive side and would need to be backed up by a solid attacking coach (which me may or may not have). So you're just ignoring mine and OCK's posts that contradict everything you've said? The reserves seem to be doing pretty awfully this year. I'll trust your better judgement but if you're playing 'good football' you generally don't lose all the time. Would you say the players being taken for the first team has had a lot to do with it?

Sounds pretty grim to me. It's an adequate midfield for an adequate mid-table team. Those two as a base with Ruiz, Kacalinic, Frei, whichever other 1 in 3 performances player they have is more than enough to get by in the PL. Jol has worked with Huddlestone before and got decent rewards from him. If not what if they change their names to Huddlegalet and Sidpuits? Well, Huddlestone has always been a bit-part player in a good team where he has been alongside some very good players. Will be interesting to see him play every week though, there may be hope. Less said about Sidcup the better.

Anita is there. Sorry I deleted some of my post and now it makes no sense. Should have abandoned it. Think it was along the lines of 'having Anita and Jonas in the same 3-man midfield is fairly pointless'.
