You have to make allowances for their lack of knowledge. Cabaye's pass to Cisse against Stoke was the type of pass not seen at Sunderland since the days of Raich Carter so they simply do not know about the quality of this sort of thing. Mackems probably see that goal as a Cabaye "hoof" into an empty space and that Cisse was lucky enough to be running in the right direction and mishit his shot. 'Hoof into empty space' like it

It's quite easy to figure out. It's effectively explained a few posts above then Dave provides the necessary comparison.

fucking Simpson is better than Bardsley and he's arguably been our worst player
  9. i.e. Any money you make from that £5 is regarded as 'promo cash'. Was stung with this recently but instead of 4 times it was 30 times
  10. "If you receive £10 £5 in Promo Cash you must place further settled bet(s) with a cumulative stake of £40 £20 before you will be permitted to make a withdrawal of any winnings accrued through the use of Promo Cash."
  11. Debuchy or move Santon over pls

Indeed. Thought he was class against City too, on both sides he played.
  13. Believe what you want, but Parker's performance against Spain was awesome. He's not technical by any means, but his determination in that game was unreal. If Spain fired a cannon at the goal he would have stuck his head on it. If we have a holding player alongside him capable of doing the technical bit (probably Barry) he's very important. Parker was one of my favourite players for the club while he was here, so maybe I have the blinkers on, but we aren't exactly blessed with options. Was hoping Jack Rodwell would step up but was not to be. You need Parker or Barry playing not Parker and Barry. That's when it all becomes lifeless and one paced. Barry has been better than Parker this season IMO. Last two games he's been almost flawless in doing about his work. I was assuming we'd be playing 3 in midfield. Not really sure how Roy will line them up. Barry and Parker are completely different players. In a 4-4-2, Barry and Parker would be horrible, yes. As a midfield 3 with Wilshere would have been acceptable but no idea how bad his injury is going to affect him atm. At least we have decent wingers, sort of.

He'll never have the same dribbling ability as their fans.

  16. In the Shortlist (that free paper) only 2% of readers thought England would win. 60% said quarter finals which is accurate I'd say.
  17. It's the typical N-O reaction to hype tbh.
