Did your lot boo today?
-
Turf Moor won't be an easy place to visit this season, they'll get raped every week away from home, though.

MECHANICAL MAN COLLINS JOHN
-
Doesn't have much luck, does he? Hope he makes a swift recovery. And this is a fukken awful crime.
-
Jack Cork on loan to Coventry.
-
Lansbury looked a bit lost today. Then again, was on for 5 minutes and has been with the squad 2 seconds.
-
Absolutely bossed a fairly pish Blackpool side today, yet gave away two cheap goals and hit the bar twice, not capitalising on our chances. A real shame. Oh - Cleverley is fucking made of win. Awesome player. Big future imo.
-
I was reading a book on this topic earlier. "Why England Lose and Other Curious Phenomena Explained". The reason for our 'relative' decline in quality and perhaps future decline is because: 1) There are not enough foreigners in English football 2) The Premiership and Europe are too competitive and not enough English players play abroad. 3) Football is a working class sport and economic prosperity has created a large lower-middle class, reducing the potential pool of England players. 4) Footballers in this country focus only on football in their youth and don't get a good enough education otherwise, you can be smart and play football, Bergkamp, Gullit, Tostao etc.

Lansbury and Cleverley look like what we need down the wings/creativity in midfield. But tbh, we need some of our own players. All this shows me is that Smith is going. If so, we really need a decent striker. Ellington/Graham/L. Henderson/Hoskins = not good enough. Graham's the only one who's playing who's good, Hoskins is out of favour for no apparent reason. If we could get in Jay Simpson and Billy Sharp or maybe Simeon Jackson or Rasiak, I'd wet my pants. (Any of the 4 would be decent)

No, these signings are far worse.

Preparing for Championship life.

£1.2M from Reading.

Signed Tom Cleverley on loan from Manure, supposed to be very good. AMC/winger, quite pleased with this, though it could be a Smith replacement, which'd be shit.
-
I'm not sure about this. He tried to change us, rather than play to the wingers + striker that we had, but struggled. I like him, but he seems to be roundly disliked nowadays around here, possibly because he was slightly 'overconfident' in his own abilities.
-
I don't remember Keith fucking Hackett offering us an apology after the cunt Atwell fucked us over last season, just because Colin Wanker kicks up a fuss, doesn't mean anything. Accept it and get on with it, you utter prick.
-
I was thinking earlier that it would've been a smart move for Liverpool instead of Aquilani.
-
It's even worse when the other team doesn't score yet gets a goal.....
-
It's also Brendan Rodgers first away game (I think), i.e he's a shitcunt.

You could be right. I thought they were talking about Lua Lua, but I hadn't heard anything of it before. I just asked someone if it's true and he said he's heard nothing and he usually hears things regarding Southampton.
-
When'd you hear that? What does that even mean? They said that Lua Lua is linked to Southampton towards the end of the game. I've not heard anything of the sort. I'll try and find out.

When'd you hear that?
