He hasn't scored in England. He's moved around quite a lot. And has played less and less at each club. Martins and Viduka are really important players for us--can't see how Saviola could replace either of them. A healthy Owen is better than Saviola. Baggio's point is well taken though. Be nice to see us hold the ball. He hasn't played at real madrid because the coach doesn't like him. He's just about as fast as Martins, but with a first touch that isn't a pass, knows where the goal is, and although as you say (extremely validly) that he hasn't scored in England, I think he has what it takes to be a regular scorer here aswell as all the other places he has. He's only 26 and if there is a chance we could get him we should. I know there is a chance he'll flop, but I think this guy is just a good as Tevez technically, but maybe a bit faster. He is smaller than Tevez but not much. Would you turn your nose up at Tevez if he hadn't scored in England?

Saviola is better than any of our other forwards in my opinion, he's scored goals wherever he has been. If this could happen it would be absolutely amazing.

Woodgate is sooooo class that we managed to put 4 past a team with him in, when we were playing anything other than brilliantly. Isn't half the player he used to be, and if he'd rather go play for Spuds in lahnden than his local team, then to be honest I'm pretty glad we didn't get him. Colo is a class ahead from what I've seen. Anyway Pako Aykestran reckons Coloccini is twice the player that Woodgate is, and would not recommend me signing him, on FM, so he can't be as good as Coloccini. Plus Coloccini has better hair. Plus Coloccini isn't a smoggy. Plus Colocinni's dad is way harder than Woodgate's.

I see, the old, play em before announcing them technique, I hear some people have actually had some success with it, but isn't it a little contraversial.
-
Why has this gone all quiet? Colo has signed, we need something to harp on about!
-
Doesnt look like him it's an imposter, they're lying!
-
Djalo has much shorter hair at the moment though doesn't he?
-
This is hill-fuckin-illarious. I come on to confirm Colo's signed. And now this. When will the specualtion end, I need sleep man.

Looked class today. There was a moment he got the ball on the wing and truned with a flick and broke free and he looked like a world beater. Heres hoping.

Donaldson = Maradona Mk II, if I remember a previous thread on the lad.

did the commentators just link us with mattias fernandes randomly there?

Fuck sake, he's only 33, playing for the club he loves, and seemed to be kevin's first choice (and would be mine). Can't believe people are putting a negative spin on this. The guy is a legend. If I had the choice to play for newcastle but sit on the bench and only come in when necessary, I'd have chosen to bide my time as well. If Newcastle is the club he loves I can totally understand his decision and certainly wouldn't put it down to lack of ambition. Plus if he is only 33, who is to say he wont get a chance for England if he does become first choice. Rant over.

Mmmm this feels good. Its like being smug and relieved at the same time.
-
Maybe he's got something up his sleeve. Like a signing that will boost sales later in the day so to speak. I hope to hell. If we're shelling out the extra for renewals then he sure as hell wants to extend those hands into those bulging pockets.

publicly stoned to death if this isn't true
-
whats this business about feeling no pain as well, am i missing something here?
-
when the fuck did this guy become the world's best player. He's had a few good games. I can think of hundreds of players where this has happened and then they have flopped. If we don't get him then it isn't as if we have missed out on ronaldo or something.

sex! if this is true my faith will be restored some way.

Prem duo eyeing Almeria striker The striker left Real Madrid last summer and joined Almeria, and he shone with 13 goals in La Liga and helped the minnows retain their top-flight status. However, Real inserted a buy-back clause in the deal and they will now take the player back for 4 million euros (£3.1million) before selling him on - with reports claiming he could go for up to 12 million euros (£9.4million). It is claimed in Spain that two English sides have made bids for the exciting 22-year-old, with some sources suggesting the two clubs as Newcastle and West Ham. Tottenham have also been credited with an interest after they scouted him late last year. Now Negredo's agent Junma Lopez says he will meet with Real next week to talk over his future. "We still have not had any news from Real and I will attend a meeting next week to clear the subject," he said. "If Real does not accept a deal then he will remain with Almeria."

I think its timme for terror tactics against these bastards. For every transfer they steal from us we need to blow something up in London.
