That's a good point, but the rhetoric of the folk that rate him v. those that think he's horseshit is incredibly divisive. Most of us trust Eddie and the broader NUFC hierarchy/team to make the right decisions for the club. But that doesn't mean some of us can't think DCL is shit. We're not critiquing the club, just a player that isn't rated and doesn't have a particularly good record.

Personally think Anderson is exactly the type of player you need in a squad aiming to compete for Europe every year. Perhaps not a starter every week, but he'll come in and do a decent job whenever he's needed.

Beating the shite has always been relatively easy given the individual talent of the players under Southgate, but when you've got a manager who's response to the utter shite served up is 'we must play better' and 'we miss Kalvin Phillips', it says it all the bloke's limitations.

Still think Southgate doesn't have a fucking clue what he's doing. Look at his interview today - England have to 'play better' apparently. It's the same after every game. He's a great front man and spokesperson (especially for the FA), and probably could do an 'upstairs' role at a club, but I'll never be convinced he's anywhere near a decent coach.
