As I can't see Rafa being given any money to spend I think it would be a good time too give some youngsters a go. Like to see more of Longstaff. Stay possitive! This was expected. Ashley was never going to accept the first offer. Why would he? And why would Kenyon offer the highest bid he could first? This is part of the negotiation. He knows Ashley won't take a bid of less than £300M, wich he has offered(£200M now and £100M if CL in 10 years). It's about how the payments will look like. And this was a first bid and a bit of a testing one. Now it's up to Kenyon to up his offer and make a new proposal over the payments. We'll just have to wait and se. If he knows al the media(wich he probably does) why hasn't he denied it to anybody if he's not interested in a takeover. What's in it for him being linked with us if it's not true? There is a NDA, that's why he's saying fuck all and that's why we know fuck all. You don't sign the NDA if you're not interested to buy the club. And signing the NDA doesn't mean you can't say you're interested or not. It means you're not allowed to to leak information about what you find out when checking the books. Or am I wrong? The NDA will be bespoke so you agree to not say whatever’s in the NDA. So no way of knowing Yes, that could be right of course. But if he hasn't signed a NDA he could deny any interest and he hasn't. And if he has signed he clearly has an interest. Just think that the silence points to that someting is happening.

Just the kind of player we would need now. Someone who can keep hold of the ball and pass it around so we don't just hoof it as far away as we can all the time. A pity he didn't want to stay a bit longer than he did.

Ok. Then the fans have what they deserve. No meaning to complain about anything. Let Ashley take your cash and get nothing back. Just watch a dull game and go home and wait for the next dull game. Thats not for me. A change is needed and nothing will happen as long as we don't do anything about it.

No protests at the matches except a few outside the club shop. Thought the Magpie Group said the protests should escalate and we wouldn't give up untill Ashley sells. Regardless of whether you think things have impact or not they weren’t nowhere to be seen. The guy came out on TV again directly after 2 protests including the 11th minute and hoping to head off the boycott - it was partly a genuine question because if people aren’t seeing them then it’s half the problem. We can't stop boycotts and protests just because we might have someone interested in buying the club. Full steam and pressure on Ashley untill a deal is done. If someone wants to buy the club he's not gonna be put off because of some protests against the current owner.

Maybe not that low but I think 35 definitely will be enough. We have 17 now and 35 is max I can see us getting It's fucking vital we beat Cardiff,Huddersfield and Burnley at home I think 37 if we're lucky. Can't see where the points will come from though...?
