As explained above, Rafa only gets a small percentage of that due to instalment payments, plus it also needs to cover wages and signing fee, and probably agent fees. Either we pay in instalments or we can use a fraction of the TV-money. You know there is money (even if the fat bastard don't want to spend it).

If we count Mitro sold for £22M and we could sell Gayle for £15M, thats £37M. I'd use that money and try to sign Michy Batshuayi. We would then have Batshuayi, Muto and Joselu as our strikers with Ayoze also able to play as a striker if needed.

Would like to see us spend the money from the sale of Mitro on Atlanta Uniteds striker Josef Martinez. Has scored 24 goals in 23 games so far this season. 43 goals in 44 games in two seasons. I know it's the MLS but he clearly knows where the goal is. Maybe a bid for him and Miguel Almiron from the same club that we've been linked with before. Almiron has been the best player in MLS for the last two seasons. Would solve both striker and no.10 for us. Don't know how much they would cost but think £10-12M was mentioned for Almiron, so maybe £25M for both?

Also Josef Martinez looks good. Has scored 2 good goals so far today. Looked at his stats and he has scored 35 goals in 40 games for Atlanta United. Not the best of leagues but could be worth a gamble.

Watching Atlanta United vs DC United in the MLS at the moment. This Miguel Almiron we are said to be after looks decent but not great. One player who looks great though is DC Uniteds no.10 Luciano Acosta. Little tricky player with good vision. Only 5ft3 and could be too small for the Premier League though.
