Fatih Terim? He'll certainly get something out of Emre. Turkish coach if I'm not mistaken. yup. Only caught his name, but it was Craigy talking about it. I'll keep an eye out and see if its repeated. He said that Sir Bobby had put Faith Terim's name forward as a possible candidate. Ahh right. Well there you go. -

interestingly, did anyone read John Gibson's little rant in the ronny about the Fleet Street press who try to blame us for our failings? It brought a wee smile to my face actually. Seems that he too is getting pissed off with what he reads. The only thing missing was an attack on a fellow ronny writer..... Can't find it on icnewcastle though > -

I'm torn. One geezer (Xavier) dismisses it, while it seems the rags are ready to go all out and say were after him, with supposed quotes from the man himself saying he'd find it an interesting challenge. More bollocks. -

perhaps a casual unoffical approach? Few pints in a sleazy boozer then on for a greasy kebab. -

ahhhhh how I look forward to waking up and turning SSN on tomorrow to see Craigy stood outside SJP in the piss rain regurgitating these articles. Then we'll get a little snippet from Anal, who will again change his story, probably claim to have spoken to representatives of Deschamps and make up a farcical story that it involves Shearer too. Who knows, if we're lucky we might even get an "interview" with Deschamps (a camera stuck in his face at Newcastle airport). It's so predictable. -
an ideal scenario would be where we are as big as Barcelona, so don't really need one shirt sponsor because we have loads of other sponsors. Then we could just have "Fuck Off sunderland" on our tops.

more than if a cameraman were to stick a camera in his face? thats whats pissed me off with SSN I think, the "exclusive interviews" with Keegan and Shearer. Interviews, or just pouncing on them unexpectedly in public and throwing questions at them without giving them time to think? -

agree with this sort of mindset, people will either whinge that certain players aren't glamour signings, or about round pegs etc etc, you cant have it both ways unless you're a MASSIVE club, there has to be compromise somewhere Spot on. I can't help but feel some people need to wake up and smell the coffee. -

"but but but... but look at Houllier's signings!!!" Look at the team Keegan had. Players such as Darren Peacock, John Beresford, Warren Barton, Lee Clark. Hardly worldbeaters, but as part of a team, they did the job. -
