When everyone is fit I think we are amonst the 10th to 13th best attacking side. The problem is there for everyone to see. We heavily rely on fragile players, and our backups are mid-championship quality at best. What further makes it all stink is that they are so shit that even if they really tried to put in a decent effort they'd still be way off (ie Murphy). And so, the difference between fielding our best side and well.. where we are now with injuries puts us closer to relegation battling for every injury. We have been very badly run for years and years. Our squad is paper thin in terms of quality. We can't shift our garbage easily.

All you Howe fanboys and girls need to calm down. Seriously, it's perfectly legit questioning our form. At the end of the day it's Howe's responsibility. He did some absolutely remarkable work last season, I'll admit to it. Is it wrong to expect him to continue that form? Is it wrong to have expectations after strengthening the squad? No! VAR, injuries, added time, whatever... we haven't preformed well enough at all. The form we have been showing the last three matches does not make us challange for top 7. I think How can do a much better job with Willock and Bruno. The first kept scoring like no other under Bruce, and Bruno was on fire last season. We haven't won since Nottingham Forrest. If we don't win any of our next five matches I think the fans will turn against him.

On paper I still think Leicester is better than us. My God does that draw against Brighton feel like a lucky fluke. We have som serious work to do. Top 7 is harder to achieve than I thought at the start of the season.

The problem is that when those mentioned get injured, then the ones we have to rely upon is just miles from the same quality. Hopefully that is something that will be adressed the next year.

He's not been very good the last couple of matches, so pushing him further up the pitch might help him recover some form? Might pose a bigger threat than subbing Wood/Murphy in from the bench.
