  1. Feel so sorry for him :undecided:

Are you similarly sorry for Michael Owen? He's only been interested in the England squad and money for the past few years too.

No. He looks demotivated, and seems like he is more interested in his horse hobby.

  2. Quite simply: No.

When newcastle were relegated most people knew we had one of the strongest squads supported by one of the best facilities in the championship. Ashley has not changed at all. You would expect a side like Newcastle to gain immidiate promotion, and thats not down to Ashley's actions.

Unfortunately he's our best option at the moment. Due to the financial crisis, most buyers stay away.

I don't believe his "We are commited"-shit at all. My bet is that he will sell as soon as he can get some sort of return from his investmenst, even if that means he'll cut his losses.

  3. This poll should have a third option..... undecided..

    I voted no... for now....

I think we should concentrate on getting Ashley and his muppets out, before anyone is brought in as staffs...

I can only imagine its got to be a true mare to work for and under Ashley.

  4. Anwayssssssss..... I'm still one of those so-called supporters of Kevin Keegan.... and looking at these threads seeing what it all has come down to it's just sad. People analyzing, going back and forth... it's just sad to see where we're at.

Of course there a lot of pros and cons about Kevin Keegan, like there is with a lot things... I'm a bit disappointed that he sued the club, but I choose to believe he sued Ashley instead... call me naive, but I really think he cares deeply about Newcastle, an this was just to get one back at Ashley.

In my opinion (and I respect that some of you don't share the same opinion) Kevin Keegan is an honest man, and whenever he's has managed Newcastle I've felt safe, filled with happiness, joy and optimisme, and I do hope he returns (and I do expect for some of you to disagree, and that's fine).

I'm glad we can put this whole thing behind us now, and that they have settle for "only" £2 million. Hopefully this being done will attract some buyers.

    Moat Toon deal close

BARRY MOAT is close to completing his £80million takeover of Newcastle.

As exclusively revealed in SunSport, the Toon businessman has been locked in talks with owner Mike Ashley and is close to an agreement.

Moat plans to make a downpayment of £20million now with the rest paid in instalments at £10m a year - so long as Ashley is willing to accept the terms.

Ashley yesterday gave Moat until the end of this week to come up with a takeover package.

And Toon fans are pinning their hopes on a buyout clearing the way for Alan Shearer to return as manager
