I think the question is - how good would Ben Arfa be at Barcelona, or how well would Messi do at NUFC. We shouldnt forget the quality of the players around you. Thats why Smith/Butt/etc can be ok at MANURE whilst crap everywhere else.
I was at least expecting an academy overhaul with loads of new U19 players - but hasnt happened. Heard so much about that last year, but besides satka, no new kids.
heres a thought, knowing how scrooge decka etc are........
do you there there is a benefit (read: cost saving) in doing business late and selling early? saving quite a bit on wages........
So what does this mean, i understand we cant take youth from other regions - so no change from now
But will this mean other regions can come take guys like Remi Streete, and Adam Campbell etc
Meanwhile, the Chronicle can also reveal Newcastle have been offered Anita’s Ajax team-mate Gregory van der Wiel.
not sure if mentioned anywhere... isnt he a right back?
Where are these 2 argies we were supposed to be signing?
And where is this massive youth revamp with an apparent 10mill set aside for development squad?
No chance, he's crap, the same way Paul Dalglish, Des Hamilton, Guivarc'h etc. were all crap.
ie, we dont know yet until he actually is crap after a few seasons, or great after a few seasons. too early to tell
It's not just the player himself, its about he team..... Ben Arfa actually having a RB behind him who knows how to attack
and williamson can lay off the ball to someone who knows how to pass
I still believe he will prove to be an excellent signing - needs games, whether thats here or on loan, but really think he has all the tools to be an excellent footballer
I honestly believe that you are an absolute plonker beyond any redemption if you think selling Jonas is a good idea - check yourself in lads - its over - you need help
