most irrelevant thread at the moment

I'm no fan of Pardew but that's ridiculous IMO. As long as he's here, the players need to be behind him. Anything else would be chaos, and the only ones to genuinely suffer are us lot. It's up to the board to replace him, not the players. they have to back each other at this moment. Anything else would mean certain relegation...stick together - players and manager and when survival is secured then we can start pointing fingers and hopefully sack the one most responsible!
-
Well, no surprise. Best scenario is we somehow manage to avoid relegation with this tosser. Sacks him asap the season is over. Ashley Wakes up and realize that a proper manager costs Money, but is needed!
-
True, Without them we would have been done by now. Scary!!!!
-
i still think there is hope for tiote if we play a system were he is positioned centrally covering the back 4 and told to keep it very simple
-
Elliot Simpson Taylor Mbiwa Haidara Tiote cabaye Arfa sissoko Gouffran Cisse colo i would play if fully fit. Anita on LB? tiote i will give the chance again - but it is close between him and perch. sissoko has to play central - in front of cabaye...i think sissoko offers more going forward front that position....cabaye offers more from deep - controlling and dictating the game. Do you think Caroll would go for the kill in the dying seconds if he had the chance?
-
i like him but he has not played above average for most of the matches, like many others. bizarre penalty, red card and often out of position. he has been average at best in an overall underachiving squad.

Sorry. You're alright, Mick even last season when we won matches there were discussions on here about his manager skills. we played crap for most of last season....harsh but true....2 full seasons with him in charge and i still do not have a clue about how he wants us to play! You can't expect the fans to have a clue when it is quite clear the manager has even less of one. true. says it all really
-
Very much this. They're clearly not managed well, and has now also seemingly lost belief in Pardew and everything he brings. The fact that almost every player have been playing badly says it all. imo sissoko, gouffran and mbiwa have all been at least as good as debuchy, if not better!

Very true, it's hard to judge anything right now amongst this mess. Would say Goof and Haidara were my two shining players. Think sissoko and Debuchy are battling it out for the worst, early spell of sissoko keeping him from being an absolute Obertan of a signing. sissoko isn´t used the right way. I still expect him to be a really good player for us. he should play central and more as a box to box midfielder! really really out of position on the RW....jesus, only pards would put him there! like cisse, christ!
-
I thought he was f***ing s**** today. He was out of position all the time and compounded a bad day when he got sent off. It's all well and good calling it 'desire' and 'passion' but we could do without suspensions at this stage. he was shite. FACT

agree. Hoped we would safe now and ashley had seen the light and sacked pardew first things after the season ended. Think good managers will be available in the summer. Don´t like us to find a new manager in desperation. Best solution is???
-
It's genuinely staggering tbh. incredible really. Most on here want him gone and rightly so...but that the protests against him isn´t bigger is a real mystery! He must go and ashley must accept that he needs to spend the money on a proper manager. We have the squad now give us a manager who is on level with the players.
-
Great find that. It is, and it proves pretty much what I have always thought about Pardew (yes, even during the good run last year when I reluctantly admitted I may be wrong about him.....turns out I WASN'T) My god, it is happening again!!!
-
has a manager ever been relegated with 2 teams in 1 season?
-
[move]MELTDOWN[/move]
-
he cant´t be defended anymore....problem is a new good manager option will first be available after the season ends...
-
pardew = coward! playing both tiote, jonas and perch in a match we have to win....pathetic. none of them offers anything going forward + sissoko out of position...WTF!!! We create nothing. If shola comes on at half time i will switch off and never watch a match again so long foking pardew is in charge
-
COME ON SPURS...im afraid we can´t do the business by ourself.
-
Very much doubt it. i have no idea who would be realistic replacement... that 8 year contract
-
that would be interesting...im in!

we are so desperate after stability that we make a lot of excuses for Pards. I know and I accept he did well last season and he seems to have good man management skills + he is ok with the media and so on. I like the bloke and i want him to succeed....but imo he does not have the same quality as our squad has....the bar has been raised and i do not believe he has the quality to offer much more to this incredible squad. Its unbelievable how bad we play under his instructions. If only i could see us as a team trying to develop our game in a way like - i dont know, maybe dortmund, swansea etc. - then i would be much more understanding - same with the players i guess. Its like we back to start before every match! It may seems harsh but if we could get an exciting/good manager i think we could easily be somewhere in top 7 with this squad....i do not believe pards can do that...and should he do it - it will not be with exciting football - if that counts for anything?
