  1. i think we will sign remy. and will be happy about that, then we need one more, if cisse stays!
  2. Arsenal selling their captain again? came here to post the same...would love him here. And while we are shopping at arsenal we should buy Bendtner as well. Controversial - maybe. But he knows its his last chance and many seems to forget he had a really really good euro 12. last season his been injured, out of favor in a strong juve attack and scandals - only one (big though). Bendtner is a bit similar to cisse. So back up for cisse and then we should get remy as well. attack and cb sorted for "cheap money".

putting cisse out wide (again again) tells you everything about pardews potential/talent - call it what you prefer!

The fact he can't get behind the club the start of the new season regardless of what players come in simply because of his dislike for the manager. If fans flock in to SJP with this kind of attitude on the first game of the season, it's another needless obstacle for the players/manager to overcome. You know with this kind of attitude will be met with moans and groans as soon as the first thing doesn't go to plan. It's a new season, the owners have made the choice to keep him, lets get behind the manager and players to give them support to hopefully get off to a positive start, that's all that we did when finished 5th, we got a winning mentality instilled within the group, we didn't think we were going to concede, we fancied our chances to nick games, from then on we moved throughout the year looking comfortable with a few mishaps along the way. We all know last season was a disaster, we all know Pardew is a very limited manager, but going into the season on his back isn't going to help anyone. HEY just give us some time to recover, aight! We will get there in time for the new season...but our patience will not last long if improvements are not spotted from the beginning of the season. Results doesn´t matter as long as i can see new positive elements to our game....i have not seen that all last season! Can you tell me one good thing pardew tried to implementate last season?

the main reason we did well last season was because or team spirit was so high. Credit to pardew for keeping the spirit up - But it was Hughton who developed it. Its was also the only reason why we were so enjoyable to watch - because we played very primitive and direct football and had the nessesary luck. That spirit cannot be restored under these new circumstances and i can´t see technical gifted players coming here for the football we play. If quality players comes here - its because of the fans nothing else.

I have to be honest with myself and say that I can't do that. Any players coming in will mean little to me until the Pardew cloud has gone. We already have very good players imo. New very good players won't improve Pardew. this is how i feel also. I cant be bothered about anything atm. Normally i or we would already be discussing new players and who is leaving and so on. But i do not care. I feel we have such a good squad - only a few quality players from being a top class side. But from what i have seen all season i feel like we are closer to loose key players than bringing new ones in. I personally believe our best players have lost their faith in pardew and wouldn´t mind leaving. Hope im wrong. This is such a HUGE opportunity to bring in a good manager and fullfill the obvious potential this squad has!
  8. no deserves the "title". What a season!

i know people are tired of other forum members (bimey etc.) having a go again and again.... But i have to say i feel the same way as bimey. Its a bit funny coz i do not hate everything about pardew - far from it actually. But still i feel very depressed...i do not feel there is anything worth discussing as long as pards is manager here. There is no development or anything to be excited about. No development in our football, wasting good players in weird positions, same routine again and again (Shola on after 70 min even though we have other (inexperienced, i know) options in campbell. At least try something different when big shola keeps failing....starting to feel sorry for the bloke. The best we can hope for is to stay up...and that will not be anything to credit pardew for. The only thing we can hope for is that pardew somehow keeps the squad happy. No matter what he will have a very very busy summer with a lot of issues work on.

i also believe we only are 2-3 quality players from top 4-6. But the most important thing for his club is to show that they have this ambition. They can only show it by appointing an exciting manager. Otherwise players will start thinking about leaving. They might have long contracts but that doesn´t matter if they are not happy/motivated. only one solution imo

After 2 full seasons i still have no idea about his visions. I have never seen such a talented squad play so uninspiring for so long. Well, last season i could see/follow his preferred direct style...but we were often lucky and the only thing that kept us going and made us enjoyable to watch were the players willingness to fight for each other (which started under Hughton). That spirit is (almost) gone... Im not being overly harsh when i say its some of the worst football i ever witnessed. Also players being mismanaged so badly - it cant go on. Our players must be so frustrated. Think he will be here for the new season....sadly.
  17. 3 wins and we would probably finish 9th
  18. well, more or less the same i posted...obviously tiote will play a bit deeper than cabaye... samesame My point was, despite 2 in there neither sits in, that and we have fecked the 4-2-3-1 all season long. I would tell Anita to just sit in and stay in the middle. well, i think i would still give tiote another chance with strict instructions to defend our back 4 and keep it simple VERY simple when he wins the ball.
  19. well, more or less the same i posted...obviously tiote will play a bit deeper than cabaye... samesame
  20. Elliot simps/Mbiwa Taylor Colo Perch/anita Tiote Cabye Arfa Sissoko Gouffran Cisse this is what i hope for...probably wont happen.
  21. if we stay up and keep our stars + adding a couple more, then it would be a dream job, coz you can only be success....at least for a year!
  22. Not really, outgoing transfer rumours still are true
