It's not rubbish - I'm just trying to keep my feet on the ground. Just because we've won three on the bounce doesn't mean we're now the best team in the world - the way people on this forum instantly swipe at you the second you dare even think about a bit of criticism would suggest some think we are. Poor players don't become good players in the space of 2 weeks - I can't help but be hesitant. im not getting carried away because i think we shouldn´t change our winning side, unless Chris finds it nessesary! Im only saying that a unchanged side with high confidence is preferred even though they overall might be on 90% or so. Starting to make 3-4 changes is what i think is "getting carried away" coz we are not so much better than blackburn that we can start to put "2-3-4 not in form players" in the starting 11. Rather go for 3 (safe) points against blackburn and take 1 game at the time.....that should the strategy this season....dont look ahead and get carried away! Stay focused on the next game (christmas time is something different i know)

dont change the starting 11 unless we have to! Why should we rest players....still early season and its not like we play in Europe either! If players needs a rest now....then they need more physical trainning or to get sacked!

i freaking hate (football) idiots with silly hats. Would hate to have a hat like that associated with our club! that say would probably be able to sell millions if you mixed the colours and club name....there are millions of idiots out there who finds a silly hat absolutely awesome/funny!

im happy...this window has done us good. if it should have been better i wouldn´t mind if we had sold best and maybe smith! this squad will finish in top 15...which will be fine! 3-4 good signings and sales the next 2 windows will give us a really fine squad! some of our players really have the potential to step up their game and become worth a lot or just good players. these could be krul, enrique, barton, caroll, tiote, vuckic and maybe even xisco, routledge and s. taylor if he sign a new deal!

YES...and im very surprised about it! if we closes the HBA deal...then i think we had a really good transfer window (didn´t expect much, maybe thats why?). campbell, gosling, perch, HBA, tiote will do us fine i think....small steps in the right direction...all seems like good deals for reasonable money. Cant really complain much about ashley at the moment I dont think its that important to add a new forward to the squad....unless we go for one who for sure will deliver 15+ goals ...and that will be very expensive! i think we will play with one on top most of the games = 4-4-1-1 that means caroll or ameobi on top with either HBA or nolan behind! dont know where to put løvenkrands....he will be backup! Ranger and vuckic are still too young...loan deals for them would be ok, i guess! i wouldn´t mind if we sold smith and best! smith could do the job as sub but his wages are too high and best will never be a success here...not good enough! if saylor decides to stay as well....then our squad is simply too good to go down....i know i know....but it seems like the squad really is brimming with confidence and harmony....which we lacked when we went down. its a long season, maybe things can happen, we could´t have met villa at a better time etc etc ....but i think chances are bigger for a 10th place or so than relegation!

It really is as simple as that. Maybe he can get more somewhere else in which case fair enough he should move, but at this stage the club is probably justified in not handing out big wages to a squad which has just come out of the championship. simple as that...end of discussion! new thread...

shame to see a player who has always been with the club demand such outrages wages when he hardly played the last year or so... it will be a big lose for us....he is a good player when fit + plus i cant see us replace him this window which will leave us short in defence...why is this happening so late in the window?
