not so worried about us selling players now! shearer (manager or not) have talked with ashley about who he wants or the club should hang on to! many players have to leave...some are too good for the championship and others are on high wages! good to start early for the next season! Actually everybody should be for sale. Only players i think we should do extra to keep is: S. Taylor, Beye, Bassong. There are others i wouldn´t mind we kept....for example jonas, enrique but dont think its possible! Problem is we dont have a manager to buy new players! A take over must happen ASAP.....if it will take month or longer it will do the club no good! Please sell soon!

We need to start building for the future and any player who will never be up to it in the premiership probably isn't worth gambling on for the championship Beckford is an exception to this, because he's so proven in league one Guess your right! No point in signing players who probably wont have the talent for the PL. But players like him could be nessesary if we manage to ship out players like smith, geremi, nolan, butt, barton. Squad players and backups are still needed....maybe short contracts (2 years) to see if they can develop! A cheap experienced player in central midfield could be ok as well....but not any of the oldies we have now!

kasper risgård is out of contract. box to box midfielder who can score goals. Played a lot of european matches for Aab including Champions League. maybe as back up for central midfield. will be cheap on wages. Dont think he will ever be a PL player though!

im really unhappy about this take over talk! I dont mind others buying the fat f*ck out....but i dont like it taking too long coz shearer will probably wait and see what happens! We dont have time for this....shearer should have signed a contract by now and started rebuilding the club. It will hurt our pre-season plans badly....unless someone with sh*t-load of money comes in soon!

i really really hoped he was what we needed...but he failed first season (which a lot of good players have done before him) I believe he could have had a good second season here...but we will never know? A shame we wont get the chance to see him here next season!

I see you have 10 players in that side. Is it because you are counting on Joey Barton to get a red during the warm-up every week? it was not a specific line-up but more to show who i wanted and believed could be in our team next season.

If he does stay he should be used ONLY as an out and out forward, whenever he's been pushed out wide he's been a disaster. thats his problem....his former managers seem to want him out wide where his only force is pace. As a forward he is very average!

Unsure! - i call for stability and if ashley accepts shearers demands on how the club should be run, then i think i would prefer it that way! But i ashley f*cks up 1 more time, its out! I hope and think ashleys long term plans could go along well with shearers plans for the club! Its not just the squad that need to be sorted it out....shearer is right when he says that the club need changes all over!

Of course,it could happen to everyone,including S.Taylor.But its still nice to know that he has the heart to the club.

Krul/Forster Beye Taylor Bassong Enrique new Guthrie new/lualua new Caroll/(Xisco/Ranger) I hope the rest of our squad will leave asap.....with exception of colo, jonas and Shearer! dont think its possible to keep the colo, jonas and bassong! look for loan options! buy "cheap and young" players who look like they have the potential to play PL football next year! Sign "old" players on a free or close to free (1 year contract max) if we need experience. I am in a similar mood, I've started coming to terms with the fact we might be in the Championship next season and the one positive I will take out of it is that a mass clearout will mean I won't have to suffer watching this shower of s**** dragging our name through the mud any more. Hell I might even start enjoying football again. That is assuming Ashley either f***s off or lets Shearer rebuild properly. feel the same! really really hope shearer stays on....if we go down and shearer leaves then we could have a problem!He must be the best suited for the job, i guess!

true! but come on, we have had 1000 problems this season! to name a few: Ashley´s spending policy Keegan left, Kinnear in, Hughton in charge for too long many injuries owen as captain...i mean come on...he didn´t want to be here! Dennis Wise - a lot of negative publicity milner and given was sold! and so on..... All this in one season
