If Kinnear is here at the beginning of next season...its all over! My health can´t take any more....i´ll quit supporting and following Newcastle and concentrate on my danish team Aab....course they know how to run a club long term and with vision. løvenkrands is a left winger! ! ! can play on both wings but hes best on the left! when he have played for schalke and Denmark he always plays left wing! I still dont like us to sign him....but our squad is small and he can only surprise....because he has been shit for years! He havent even been linked with any danish clubs at all, which is quiet odd! If we are looking for a cheap right wing as back up we could sign rommedahl....he is better than løvenkrands and not wanted by ajax! He can score goals and have pace! ...but still cant believe we are trying to sign løvenkrands eventhough he is coming here for free! If the signing of løvenkrands happens it will just show what a mess this club is in

van bommel and bayern can reach an agreement over an extension! bayern have reached their limit and van bommel isnt happy about the offer plus bayern have signed Anatoli Timoschtschuk from Zenit! there is still some years left in van bommels legs! think he could be a good signing and leader!

he is very left footed! can play on both wings but i think he is best on the left! can´t remember him deliver any crosses of good quality! he can score goals though! still think we should avoid signing him. really rated him years back but now he is 28 and he will never find the same form which he had for rangers for half a season or so....all his talent is about his pace! he ain´t better than what we got!

Exactly where he prefers, I still wouldn't want him unless he has changed magnificently from when he was at Rangers he is lazy, crap and not very clever! would be a terrible terrible signing! he is leaving schalke because he offers absolutely nothing. end of discussion!

mido has the talent....but i think he has problems with his head.......attitude problems and injury prone also. Like someone said earlier....he has to play every week to be good, like he needs a manager who can handle him and motivate him! i think he would become a problem over time and thats why i would prefer to sell smith in a cash deal and not a swap deal. i agree, he could give us a boost over short time....but at the end of the day i dont believe he would make it here any different than ameobi, xisco or caroll. 80% sure we will regret signing him! think of how we treated him in the past.... i guess 2 mill and mido for smith would be alright

1 week of the window have pasted and can´t think of any interesting players we have been linked with! I don´t expect anything this window....only bad things! we will probably sign a couple of players which our new manager dosen´t want after this season! Then we will have to get rid of 10 instead of 8 players

Exactly I'm confused as to why people would be pleased with the likes of Butt, Geremi and Shola leaving. I know they aren't brilliant but people don't seem to realise the situation we're in. We're in a relegation battle with a wafer thin squad, how is selling players going to help? It's January, clubs aren't going to be willing to flog as readily as they would in the summer. What if we let the three of them go and we don't get adequate replacements in on time? We'll either end up with no one, or an equally average/poor player. The club is an injury crisis away from deep s***, we need to be adding to the squad not reducing it. ashley wont spend...so we can´t rebuild the squad before they leave! the sooner the better! Know we could go down....but the players u mention is easy to replace.....and they are not the players who would keep us up anyway! caroll, xisco could easily do ameobis job....not worse at leat! butt is the biggest joke! why he is getting a new deal is the weirdest thing i can think of! dont care about our position at the end of the season as long we are trying to do something long term. That means 6-7-8 players have to leave the sooner the better! You'd care about our position if we were in the bottom 3, sorry but we need a couple of short term fixes to see us through. the positive thing is hes an ok 4th choice and not uhappy being benched most of the time! rather give him a new contract than duff, cacapa, butt, geremi and viduka! not happy though....maybe we can sell him in the summer for a decent amount?
