For me Sterling is one of if not the players with the highest football IQ in the PL. Runs and movement are a class or two above everyone else out there and no matter how many times he misses, he always wants the ball. Never hides.
That’s how I remember it too. I wish we played more dynamic formations like having Ben Arfa in an attacking role instead of playing him as a traditional winger.
Sorry if this is a stupid question but where do you think certain players would fit in to the new styles of football being played in this day and age. Like a Solano. I couldn’t see him playing as a right winger in this day as he didn’t have much pace but I could see him as a central mid in midfield three. Or a Laurent Robert. Would he play as a left sided player in a three prong attack?
did we play 443 under Sir Bobby? Where did players like that fit in?
They're not the worst transfers ever paid but always thought Man City's early business after their takeover was poor. Benjani, Santa Cruz, Bianchi, Jo(18 mil), Wayne Bridge(10 mil).
