  1. Mane right to be angry at Salah who can be incredibly selfish at times.
  2. Scrappy game. We were well on top of them in the second half and had some good opportunities to win the game. I’m trying to give Almiron the benefit of the doubt but he annoyed me today. Either way, he should always be in the team as he’s a spark. Atsu was pretty good. I didn’t like his corners though. Took two of them short when we brought our entire defense up. Willems created a couple chances. He’s good at getting out of of tight spaces. Dubs made some great saves. Joelinton played really well, it’s just a shame no one could create any chances for him to get on the end of. He had to do everything by himself. May have been a half chance but wish Muto had shot a second earlier at the end of the game. Schar MOTM for the goal and just trying to make something happen. Special mention to Lascelles for that run down the left wing. Could have scored from that action.
  3. 16 year old Ansu Fati just scored for Barcelona. 1-1
  4. Was slapping heads again during celebrations. Thank God Joelinton’s got a lot of padding up there.
  5. Trippier —> Felix —> Vitolo Pass before the pass
  6. Outrageous pass from Maddison and what a goal by Jamie Vardy. What a player. He’s one of a kind. Will we ever get another? I wonder... And that goal from Barnes. So pure.
  7. Man utd just don’t like scoring. Don’t even think their keeper’s had a save to make.
  8. Man Utd. Such a mess. Will probably go on to win this but they have nothing to their game.
  9. Looking like it. Gotta do better than Calvert Lewin. Spent 40 mil on Iwobi. Could have gotten a decent frontman for that money.
  10. Some great technical players in the Championship that we could do with as utility types - Barry Bannan, Alioski from Leeds.
  11. Ah yes, you're right. Scouring PL teams for a replacement. Gimme a sec. No wonder I was wondering what he did.
  12. My 'I can't believe he still plays for them' 'What exactly does he do?' 'Modern Day Clogger' Eleven Asmir Begovic Joel Ward Phil Jones Mamadou Sakho Luke Shaw Shane Long Nacho Ki Sung Yeong Demarai Grey Calvert Lewin Javier Hernandez Begovic - started 24 games for Bournemouth last year. He's 32. I thought he was 36. Doesn't look like he's starting anymore. Ramsdale has been in nets for them this time around. I remember him being quite decent for Stoke before leaving to Chelsea to sit on their bench. Joel Ward. Thought about Aaron Wan Bisaka here. Because it's weird for a full back to be defensive nowadays. And also, I feel like no matter what offensive contributions, AWB makes, he'll always be classed as a defensive player. But gone for Joel Ward. Had no idea he had played so many PL games. Phil Jones - What is this guy good at? How has he managed to stay at Man Utd so long? He wasn't even that good for Blackburn. He has 27 England caps and is still only 27. Crazy to think there's still more of Phil Jones to come. Mamadou Sakho - Is he any good? I'm never quite sure. Was shocked to see he was apart of the Liverpool team that almost won the Premier League in 2014. He also had quite a significant playing career with PSG. 29 Years old. Thought he was younger. Luke Shaw - Could have sworn Luke Shaw was like 5'6. Apparently he's 6'1. He doesn't play like he's 6'1. He's always slumped forward, looks out of shape. Now that Man Utd are getting their defense together, it wouldn't surprise me if this guy's position is under evaluation. He's been under performing for years. Shane Long - Putting him on the wing. Sure he won't mind. His numbers are staggering for a striker. Nacho(Real Madrid) - The Nicky Butt of Real Madrid. What does this do? The John Obi Mikel type. Has 22 caps for Spain. Scored that goal against Portugal. Ki Sung Yeong - Just one of those 'don't really do much' midfielders. If you were assembling your best 11 of current Newcastle players, you'd probably leave him out. Always forget he plays for us. Demarai Grey - Is he actually good? Like is he? With all the new editions Leicester have made, feel like Grey is the odd man out. Should consider becoming a RWB to get more out of his career. Dominic Calvert Lewin - Calvert Lewin starts a lot of games for Everton but never looks like scoring. Feel like if Sunderland were still in the Premier League, they'd be looking to splash their entire transfer budget on a player like him. Can't believe Everton are looking to get into the top six with a player like him starting games. Javier Hernandez - Flukey goals, I mean his movement is absolutely brilliant but aren't you always surprised when this guy gets on the scoresheet? I am. Feel like every year I'm expecting this guy to go to the MLS. Thought it'd be this year. Surely next year then. Anyone else? Is it just me who thinks about things like this? Yes? Ok, I'll get back to work now then.
  13. Kompany to step away from management and go back to being a player for Anderlecht.
  14. Legit question - How many clubs actually have swimming pools and aquatic facilities? Tried researching it but it's a tough thing to find. Man Utd do... The Main Building, which houses the Manchester United first team, was opened in the pre-season of 2000. It comprises two levels. The ground floor includes; a large gymnasium, indoor running tracks, rehabilitation training hall, squash and basketball courts, weights room, 25-metre swimming pool, remedial and hydrotherapy pools, spa pool, jacuzzi, underwater treadmills, sauna and steam rooms, sunbeds (for Vitamin D), yoga rooms, administration and executive offices, seven team changing rooms, staff changing rooms, laundry rooms and five kit/boot rooms. The first floor includes; the first team manager's office (overlooking outdoor training pitches), manager's personal assistant office, assistant manager's office, coaches offices, match and opposition analysis suite, physiotherapy treatment rooms (with 10 physio beds), massage rooms, first aid station, doctor's office, physio's office (overlooking swimming pools, rehab hall, and weight room), classrooms, conference rooms, charity staff offices (Manchester United Foundation), restaurant seating over 100 people, player's lounge, recreation and games rooms, as well as an elevated, covered viewing gallery overlooking the outdoor pitches. The Main Building was extended and updated in 2013.[4] This makes me sad.
  15. Thought I’d add a little with each game. Tottenham vs Sporting Lisbon - 2010 - This game was a pre season friendly double header with Man City - NY Redbulls playing after. Gareth Bale was the standout player. He didn’t do much but he beat a man with a piece of skill and it was like ‘oh yeah, he is supposed to be good’. This was right before he stepped his levels up. NY Redbulls vs Man City - 2010 - Think the standout players during this game were Emmanuel Adebayor and Adam Johnson. My brother stupidly screamed ‘John Terry’ when Wayne Bridge walked by. He was under the impression you could just say anything at football games. Luckily he didn’t hear him. Tbf he felt bad about it right after. Argentina vs United States - 2011 - Messi was the standout player for sure. Everything he did was just so quick. Players would get the ball off him for a millisecond but messi would get it straight back off of them. Mascherano was also exceptional. He was pinging diagonals left and right. Pinpoint accuracy. Every pass went straight to a man. Ran the show. Tottenham vs Swansea - 2013 - My first Premier League game. I was so excited. It was absolute shite. Game finished 1-0. Soldado pen. Andros Townsend was probably the most effective player on the pitch. I remember Danny Rose having a really poor attitude. He’s expend unnecessary energy getting upset and moaning about. NYC FC vs Orlando City FC - 2017 - Really poor game. It was weird because NYC were the home team but were wearing their away kit which is grey and Orlando were wearing white instead of their usual purple so it was really hard to tell what was going on.
  16. Remember when we were good against these? Used to like watching games against Spurs. Did have that one random game when Ayoze scored last minute.
