But that's just what seems to happen. The times that Liverpool and Spurs have gotten into the top four have been seasons where they are in the conversation for the title. In fact all of the teams that do finish in the CL positions are mentioned as potential champions at different points in the season. You have to set your sights high.

Palace kit is probably the best I've seen so far. Liverpool's is very strange with all the white trim.

Been thinking about it and if you set your target to win the league, you end up in the top four(Spurs last two years + Liverpool 13-14). Set a target to reach the top four and you end up in the Europa League chase like Everton, Villa(06-2010). If you set out to just stay in the league, you're going to be in the relegation fight. I hope we have a strong target next year.

Thankfully the Confederations Cup is this summer. That'll be nice. Alexis Sanchez and the rest of the Chile team have played A LOT of football over the last three years. Barely anytime off.

I would actually love to have a remake of the banana kit... If we do pay homage to a classic away kit , like the grandad collar 95/97, one of the yellow/green outfits, our even the asics away kits, i would deffo consider getting my 1st away kit since the 11/12 black one !!! It was great on FIFA, too. No kit clashes and looked great under the lights. I remember playing FIFA 07 and getting to the Champions League Final to play AC Milan, but had to have both teams in their away kits as they looked too similar.

Watching Bayern - RBL from yesterday and the Redbull team has some gems. What an interesting team. Theyre all so young. I'm torn whether to like them or not because of the corporate connection. Werner, Forsberg, Keita and a young French defender who's name I cant spell are very good.

I don't think he's useful in a team that holds the ball a lot like City does. He could be good in our squad. A huge upgrade on Colback. He seems to be a threat from set pieces, too. I see him win a lot of headers from corners. They don't always go in, but he's involved at least.

It's a pretty interesting final tbh.

I think he's awful. Every time I see him play he's poor. Not sure what people see in him and they obviously do as he's played for some top teams but then so did Aaron Winter. His decision making is poor. His heading is poor. His shooting is poor. Never been quick. He's now basically Juve's Gouf! Summed him up perfectly.

An underrated assist is Lampard to Ramires vs Barca. There's only one camera angle for it and it's zoomed in, but the initial touch and vision for the pass was brilliant. He also got it between four or five players.
