This is where I'm at. I've seen him play really well for Swansea and if he find a bit of form then he'll look excellent for us. Also cautious about the fact the Swansea fans don't seem too bothered and it would appear we were pretty much the only club in for him. Half a Shelvey is better than twice a Colback. I'm sure they'll miss him once he's gone. Initially we did the same when Ba and Cabaye left IIRC.

I want him because not only can he be influential, but he's also got Premier League experience and we really need that. Swansea were doing well over the last two seasons and he was a big part of it. He'll get a second chance with us and good displays will see him in the Euro team. I also like that anytime he picks up the ball, he's looking to create a goal scoring opportunity. He'll even try to score from his own half. On the negative side, he can be quite rash. He's the type of player to get frustrated and lash out or commit a two footed challenge. But I think the positives out way the negatives on this one. Really hope he signs for us.

I suppose, but Neymar was a huge part of it. When Messi was injured, Neymar carried the team quite well.

Kinda hope Neymar wins it this year. The guy was incredible last year and was always involved in the big games. He's also Brazil's most influential player. They look average without him.

Was Modric any good last year? Thought he was injured for most of it.

Anytime I've seen him, he looks to make a forward pass. Even a few weeks ago when he came on as a sub, he looked to play the ball forward. That is a huge improvement on what we've got so I hope this comes off.

My favorite is the number 4 because of all the different types of players to wear it for us and other teams. Solano - right wing. Nolan - CAM. Viera - box to box? Fabregas - Playmaker. Gerrard for England wore it, too. I don't like it when defenders wear it like Ramos, Kompany, etc...
