Wouldn't have been funny if they had scored...

People are being a bit unfair with this. Smart foul really, with attacker getting away from him, far better take him out there than risk a foul on the edge of the area and have us let in another wonder goal. If it was anyone else we wouldn't even be talking about it. Smart foul would have been to clip his heals. Dangerous tackle IMO, couldn't have complained if he got sent off.

Hands up to Chris Mort and the new board

Whats the chances of this being reported in the Nationals ?? slim to nil. It will under the headline TOON CAN'T SELL THEIR TICKETS "Toon fans in "no show" indicates they want Sam OUT and Shearer IN!!!" -
We were sub 50k quite a few times last season. Yep, thinking back we were. Not helped by the standard of opposition and they only brought about 3 men and a dog with them.
-
Good to see the defenders chipping in with goals now. A few each from them a season could be vital.

Wes Brown's Manchester United future could be in doubt after the defender rejected a new four-year contract. The 28-year-old, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has been at the club since leaving school. "He has not agreed anything, which is entirely up to Wes, we feel we have made him a good offer," said United boss Sir Alex Ferguson. "We've met with his agent. They've rejected our last offer so that is the end of it. We won't be going back." Brown has been a regular for United this season, filling in for long-term injury Gary Neville at right back. Sir Alex did not say if he would be willing to sell Brown in the transfer window, and admitted he could lose him on a free transfer at the end of the season - but would not be held to ransom. "It's a possibility. It would be a disappointment," he said. ------------------------------------------------------------ Was it him or Silvestre we were interested in in the summer?

Also his set pieces were excellent.

D.Mail says D.Mirror says Eriksson thinks he's getting Owen for £8m

Sell tbh. He doesn't fit in with how Sam wants us to play, and whenever he plays we look shite. Get the players to fit the system, rather than creating a system for the players. -
Man City would be daft enough to take Owen IMO
-
Aye, fair do's
-
Thought that was earlier in the season?

From www.true-faith.co.uk: A big true faith welcome back to his place behind the SJP decks to Rob ex-Steel Wheels meister who should never have been binned. Well done to everyone at NUFC for making this happen. Does this mean PA Guy has gone?

Owen out Arshavin in Maybe some random we've never heard of in as well.

Aye, he's been in top mrof.

On what basis? His Blackburn form? on his Chelsea and Blackburn form oh and Milner and N'zogbia's form Milners performance last night was probably better than all but one or two of Duff's since he has been here and although he played well he wasn't fantastic. exageration right there, Milner was ineffective last night Except for the numerous crosses he whipped in and turning Sagna inside out a zillion times, as well as his crisp interchanges with Zog, aye, he had a quiet game.
