I’d argue it’s very much one and the same, as if you’d had higher commercial income your PSR compliance wouldn’t be in question and therefore no need to sell. Going to be some interesting cases coming along is my guess.

Having to dodge around PSR by selling unwillingly is something a club in our situation shouldn’t be forced to do. And ultimately being unable to spend for 3 transfer windows (Hall blah blah blah) ultimately fucks over any club with ambition. I was all for not on about going mental and buying all the star players, but when a club has solid monetary grounding, and zero debt, then clearly these APT rules are just bullshit. They couldn’t care a single jot when FCB wasn’t putting a penny in for stifling commercial revenue from APT, but as soon as the opportunity came along to improve with this, they fucked us in the arse. Fuck Masters. Fuck all the other fucking clubs who signed up to this in the league. Do the inflated commercial deals and spend what you want lads as far as I’m concerned. Go for it. Fuck being nice.

I mean it was fairly obvious from the offset what it was trying to do and who it was on behalf of. I reckon we’ve been working with City on this behind the scenes. Absolutely wouldn’t surprise me.

Long and short they’ll build it and it’ll have about 45k. Knock down Leazes. Build the last bit. 70k. Knock down the rest of SJP. Not that I’m an engineer or owt, but imagine we’ll play for a season with a reduced capacity of 45k. Then finish the build in the close season as best as we can to bring it up to 70k. No where else for us to go.

Pretty easy really. You build points up by attending games. Whether ST holder (allocated x amount upon purchase), cup scheme, away tickets, ballot, resale. Yes away loyalty points still count before people fucking whinge about those too. Each type ticket has a weighting/point attributed to it depending on criteria (distance/attractiveness - midweek against L2 opponents in 3rd round FA cup etc) which in essence means you have a total score built up over time, based on the above. Which then gives said ‘holder’ an opportunity for rewards. A bit like air miles on a CC. What this means is essentially, no freebies per se, but just opportunities for ‘pots’ when it comes to cup games (finals or whatever), European games, away games, season ticket opportunities, you name it. Essentially just trying to make it fairer and similar to how a lot of the clubs do it. This way those who want to be aren’t eternally locked out of a closed shop forever, or lumped in a pot 6 category with those who could only be arsed to press ‘apply for ballot’. Christ it’s not difficult really. Whether the system is adequate to do such things is another question mind.

Or the ones who spend hours on the site actively trying to get tickets after being unsuccessful in a ballot, aka some kind of basic reward for trying their hardest to attend. I've been successful once this season in the ballot, yet been to every single game, by no means a simple 'Apply for ballot' and forget about it. Sometimes its been hours worth of trying over the course of a few weeks when I've been looking on resale. I'm not saying this is me being better or more deserving than anybody else, but the fuck on (or so some people have said) all ST holders have had queuing and then adding tickets to baskets for the cup final. Try that 2/3 times per month for the full season. For at least 19 games. And then the cups. And all of last season. The CL games too. Thats more dedication and fucking about that someone applying for a ballot and then going 'meh - didn't get one', hence the discussion around a tiering system.

Not using the actual ticketing platform I'd imagine anyway.

I think it would just be based on how many games you've went to....that would be my guess?
