potentially brilliant I agree, potentially brilliant. I have loved that tune since it came to light a couple of years ago on youtube. We need to keep the verses short and not too many and maybe make them about the club itself and not individual players. The biggest promlem for it catching on imo is the tune itself, not many people will know it, it will take a big group of lads singing it constantly at an away game for it to take off. Quality tune. I concur...brilliant. Have to get that going at next away game

Weather for Saturday is supposed to be 21C, glorious sunshine and beltingly hot. I say supposed cos BBC weather is as bout as reliable as scoring with a clean bird on the big market. -
On the left my lord...Jo 'o' nas On the right my lord...Jo 'o' nas Oh Lord...Spider Man. etc etc.. Quite lame but It could work.

Yalreet like? Someone clothes line you? Fractured my finger playing cricket on Saturday, would have been playing this coming Saturday and not going to the match if I hadn't done so. Nightmare mate, hope yalreet anyhow. Were pre-match boozing like so probably catch you around the bars

Would have thought after last week and first home game etc it will be close to if not sold out. Should imagine it will be a good atmosphere as well. KK wants it to be a fortress again, who could disagree. Bring it on. They will provide a tough test but if the crowd are patient, right behind the team and we play like we did last week, we should batter them. Also, be interesting to see what the new signing section will do to improve the atmosphere as well. Oh aye, forgot about that. Can't wait to sit in me new seat amongst the mentalists and help provide some noise. I just hope it inspires others to sing around the ground!

According to the Ronnie Gill, Graeme Danby will be doing a rendition of the Blaydon Races again. Superb!

Good local lad, scored some cracking goals against some damn good opposition but just not frequent enough to warrent a starting place. Simply not good enough for the premier league and never fulfilled his full potential. At 26 he's at peak age. Good luck to him. £2.5m is a bloody steal mind!

To dispell this rumour, I thought it was rather strange at first as well. Until I watched it closely and found that: http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/b801b24e96.png this is most likely Allardyce, talking on a microphone rather than an overhead announcer. The way he's talking suggests he's stood on the pitch pointing at particular areas as he talks as well. That's that ammunition shat all over Aye, but the fact remains he is talking over a tannoy system to a team made up of 80% foreigners in a broad Yorkshire accent that even I and many others have trouble understanding. He is also talking utter shite if you actually listen to it. "I want butty ere n milner ere and if your there, then he's there and were 4 2 4 too soon!" etc. How the fuck is Enrique/Faye/Zog/Martins/Cacapa for example going to understand that bollocks? I'm not one for arguments via the internet on forums, as pretty much all of my posts have sufficient evidence and worthwhile opinions to back them up and make them worthy of posting. I just think this video highlights how poor man to man management and catering to individuals needs/skills he was. He is a very clever man, and I thought at the time we should have stuck by him, but with hindsight (and after various reports) he is a very self opinionated, arrogant and bitter man who will quite possibly do anything, including slag our club off, to get another job.

Is it not someone from here who has written that taking the piss at how she would spin it?

Get a load of this from the Maily Dail: http://www.mailonsunday.co.uk/sport/football/article-1046186/Keegans-Toon-tonic-Blunt-United-held-attacking-courage.html?ITO=1490 Yes...I know, I'm in utter shock too. :colo:

Youve got, 4 doing nothing special, and 2 below par, to get a draw at OT. FFS some people are never happy. I'm delighted, but I'm being realistic. No one had the game of their life, apart from maybe given and jonas (so far). And tbf man utd were absolutly s****. People say coloccini was excellent and all that. The truth is he was a mess the first 20 mins, but upped his game. I know it's his first game, but it's a little early to jizz all over him this soon when he wasn't incredible... I dont think Manure played shit....thats a little harsh considering Sir Alex is a brilliant tactician and never gets anything wrong. Honestly tho, it could be the drink, it could be common sense...but we matched everything those cocky fucking bastards threw at us today and even gave them a scare. Im not getting 'fuck me were gaanaaa win the laaauge' on you all, but considering the performance the TEAM put in today...I think we deserve our little praise for today.

Over Zealous Policing At OT. Turnstile Fiasco.
mattypnufc replied to Crumpy Gunt's topic in Football
Disgrace. Ive heard they were like that at OT but never heard any tales first hand. Bastards. Considering my mate got chucked out at Woodison Park last year, and the bobbys let him get a picture taking with them afterwards pales in comparison to the 'im class, im the law, fuck you all!' policing that goes on at some grounds. -
In a word, bollocks. I think he played well considering he is not a left back. He tracked back, tackled well and played some very good passes. Jonas covered for him very well, but both of them switched well throughout the match. I honestly think the above is uncalled for considering.
-
Same...heart is racing and I cant wait to see how we fathom. I go into this match knowing that we are playing against the best team in the league/europe and if we get anything out of it (or even put in a good shift) I will be happy. HOWAY THE LADS!!!
