Not expecting a win today, but it f***s me off so much that we get written off by media hacks that I'd be buzzing for months if we pulled anything off today. Hyped to f***, and its 9:00am. God help me come KO time. f***ing COME ON!!!!

this is true I had the same trouble last year with my Villa Away tickets. They got lost in transit...I rang up, kicked off, still no tickets. They turned up at someone elses gaff, even tho the self addressed evalope was to me. They ended up in another envalope with my mates address on.

I'm in the same boat mate. Simmer doon.
-
True...but how are they in the game vs the makems? 30minutes worth of effort and graft by the unwashed down the road, LPool then took control of the game...
-
Aye, how dare they try and change things for the better and make things easier for us. I can understand the issues guys, but howway, the BO has changed the entire way they do things...there are going to be teething problems. Unfortunately as with anything Customer Service related we only hear the bad bits. I have about 3/4 workmates who managed to get them no problem. As for the ST's, with all the changes/switches they have made (and with what looks like a printing issue) there was bound to be a little bit of a delay.

Oh sorry...Sting is only a Geordie when he wants to be/suits him.

For what its worth, I think he needs to be applauded for doing what he did @ Liverpool coming from such a shit tip. Just...yee knaa...howay.
-
I said to me Da before the game... Sunderland to run around, usual headless chicken syndrome for 30minutes, then for Liverpool to come at them after that. I was right. Da is buying the beer next week.
-
great...thanks for that.

All I'm going to say is...how much is it going to cost? If its minimal, I wouldnt mind chucking in a few bob...even better if its free.

She has it on good authority that he was not wanted by Wise/Jimenez yet in the article on Keegan she quotes him as saying nothing discussed between them behind closed doors is discussed elsewhere? If she thinks she has not got an agenda, ask her to agree on the definition of bias. If the full facts are not known (like when she is reading body language in post-match press conferences), then always putting a negative spin on those 'questions' is bias. If you look through all her conjecture this summer and can find examples of positive and negative interpretations of the events, then she is not biased. Unfortunately for her, in each article she writes she insists on the negative interpretation of events, without the quotes or facts to back this up. Therefore, there is a negative bias (or agenda) in each of her articles. It would be easily proved by just picking out a few of her articles as examples. The nonsense she spouted today was summed up in the line "talk of KK's supposed disillusion has increased with every collapsed transfer deal'. The key words are 'talk' (who by? the media), 'supposed' (ie unproved) and 'collapsed' (according to which quotes?). As Peter O'Toole would have said, kick her in the f***ing c***. This. I believe you should write exactly that, but to the ombudsman of the Guardian and with links to her actual articles as mentioned. Oh and minus the kick her in the cunt bit...although highly amusing. Make sure you CC her in too.

I would reply with True Faiths latest article link. What an utter cow though, she still does not explain herself and the reason for her actions. Typical "chip on shoulder" makem response. Slag.

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/fergies-long-goodbye-899008.html Saw that and instantly said "What?" out loud. Utter utter nonsense. Still think we very much under achieved last season in terms of results, performances and league finish. Improved the squad (blah blah so has everyone else blah) and believe a top 10 finish is within our grasp. 3 more quality players and a European spot is not out of the equation either. Relegation, considering other teams in the league, is out of the question. What an idiot that guy must be.

which fantasy football has best weekly prizes?
mattypnufc replied to womblemaster's topic in Football
I just play the free official premier league one...and the prize I get is the same as the rest of my fantasy football jaunts...I promptly forget about it, win fuck all and end up last in our works mini league. http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ -
I personally reckon she sits and fraps one off every night about us. I have no idea how the Guardian publishes this and gets away with it...

Your forgot to mention NE5 still wishing Stan Seymour was in charge and slating Sir John Hall. *no offence meant NE5*

So fucking glad I'm with the nutters in the singing section this year...I might actually be able to support my team vocally without being looked at as if I'm mental. I actually got told to shut up last season by some old codger. Suffice to say I responded with 'How about you get behind the team instead of telling me what to do...show some support man!' He just 'pffftt' and shut up. Ahh well, wont have to worry about that now.

I love what a difference a day makes... 24 little hours... etc etc

Anyone think Geremi's expression in the first pic is the same one as the 'OMAGAD YOU JUST OVERHEED KICKED!' for Oba last season... -
My good god, some people are far OTT harping on about this song. Its a tune now associated with Newcastle, and one that I personally think builds the atmosphere up. Dont get me wrong, I love 'The Blaydon Races', but it certainly doesn't jeer the crowd up the way Going Home does prior to the players kicking off. Too many people don't know more than two verses (me included, I hate to admit) for it to work well. In my eyes, Going Home ends on a nice 'Buma dum a dum!' and then the whole ground shouts 'COME ONNNNNNN!' - sends shivers down me spine everytime. Other fans, teams and current players/ex players believe it is synonymous with a game at St James. It might have been made by a 'bland' man, but I have to say he's a canny bloke (yes I have met him), can play the guitar brilliantly and has written a few cracking tunes in his time. He's from Newcastle, he supports Newcastle and (I think) goes to every game that he can. Glad its back. As for Sham 69...whilst I agree with the song itself, a song written by cockneys and performed by cockneys wouldn't go down too well on a match day would it?
