I got an enquiry come my way summer last year for the IT Manager role. Pay was 20k less than I'm on. T&C's were pretty Ashley-esq too. 25 days holiday. No paid OT. Work every other weekend (guessing match day) for nothing too - 2 days in the office non-negotiable. Suffice to say I told them it was interesting but no thanks.

I’ve seen some shite officiating over the years, but that was definitely up there yesterday. Just woeful for the entire game. No consistency. No controlling the game. Picky at times. Not picky at others. Random cards being shown but not at other times. Pulling back play when he should let it go and see how it pans out. And I haven’t even mentioned the sending off. Just fucking shit entirely.

Was never a fucking yellow card by the way. Considering there two midfielders could just foul all game and not pick up a booking is beyond galling when Hall gets a booking for that.

I've read some bollocks in my time. but calling Gordon a more gifted version of Longstaff is up there. Gordon, Isak and Bruno (arguably Botman pre injury) are the key spine of this team and would get into any of the red (and blue) cartel quite easily. Gordon has all the attributes to take him all the way to the top of the game, arguably last season he was the best left sided attacker in the league. Do not sell under any circumstances unless someone offers north of 120m, which is next 5 year game changing cash.

He's good but calling him a generational talent is a bit far fetched.
