Doubt another boycott would work personally especially with those who have paid for their tickets. People would miss one game but unless your completely fed up - like me - but they wouldn't sack off all of the remaining games. Just my thoughts anyway.

That would be a good start. Thinking back to our season in the Championship though our lowest gate then was the opening game v Reading, around 36k or thereabouts so really it should be lower than that as that game wasn't officially boycotted just people pissed off about getting relegated. You'd like to hope so, just think its the people not willing to forgo a thing they have already paid for.

Genuinely excited not to be going to the match and being part of the boycott. Hopefully it works. I'm not expecting the ground to the half empty but if 10,000+ stay away I'd say they have been quite successful.

To be fair, lots of mackems are kicking off about it like. Don't blame them.

Plenty of rumours recently that they are breaking their sponsorship with us early. Would make sense given losses.

Dont forget, the club will announce its attendance inclusive of all tickets sold. A different number of attendees has to be provided by law to the local authorities (Police/Fire/Ambulance etc) due to fire regs/safety. Due to the Freedom Of Information Act people can obtain this information if they request it. Will be interesting to find out what the actual attendance will be.

Just checked, east stand leazes corner end looks half empty. Back of the Gallowgate is half empty. L7 is off limits to check so guessing bar ST's its fairly empty. Corporates are half empty either side of Ashley Leazes is half empty nearer the boxes and 1/3 nearer the front. Rest is up to ST holders to stay away. By empty I mean currently unsold.

Sounds familiar. Not the excuses of McClaren himself in fairness, he does a relatively good job of not acting like Football's Charlie Sheen in his interviews. One good attribute for McClaren is that players have legitimately improved while playing for him, and he's a good coach. Derby fan at work said similar. The issue they face is they don't have a replacement for Chris Martin or anyone close to it and have a very small squad - they're down 7 players. Reckons they've been playing a left winger up top in place of Martin since he was injured. Chap actually reckons they've been class this season but obviously its just petered out. Rates McClaren highly too.
