This exactly, hopefully this isn't the first domino been flicked, but it seems likely. These pretty much sum up how I feel. Regardless of his limitations as a player, he seemed central to a solid team chemistry that was something to build around. Disrupting that chemistry is a bit unsettling. That may be giving too much weight to an intangible sense of team spirit, but that sense of team seemed to be something that was sorely lacking in the years leading up to relegation.

Columbus is closest, but you'd still have to fly, and because it's a 7:30 p.m. game you wouldn't be back in Boston until the next day. It could be done in a 24 hour period, but it wouldn't be fun.

Interstate 70 runs through Kansas City and Columbus, ending in Baltimore, where I am. I just meant it would be great if they came here (which won't happen) -- we've got a nice big stadium, but nobody for them to play.

This must be the I-70 tour. If only Baltimore had a team . . .
